Villa Mimoza is a spacious luxury villa with a private swimming pool, situated on the outskirts of Spartia, a traditional Greek village, on the south-coast of the beautiful island of Kefalonia, Greece. 
 
The villa is a 20 minute drive from the capital town of Argostoli and a 15 minute drive from the airport. Many lovely beaches are within a few minutes drive, and the village tavernas and mini-markets are only a short walk away. 
 
The property is accessed via impressive wrought-iron gates and is surrounded by walls to all sides, providing security and peace. The plot of nearly 2,000 square metres (half an acre) guarantees your total privacy. Inside, Villa Mimoza benefits from unique vaulted timber ceilings, with sparkling chandeliers.  
 
The villa entrance leads into the spacious kitchen with cherry wood units and high quality appliances. A short flight of marble steps leads up to the large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. French doors lead on to a charming balcony providing wonderful views across the country landscape of Spartia to the sea beyond. 
 
Across the landing is the attractive second bedroom with views of mountains and St. George’s castle. Conveniently located between the two bedrooms is the well appointed shower room, with large walk-in shower, basin and WC. Both bedrooms benefit from large fitted wardrobes in cherry wood units to match the kitchen. 
 
Another short flight of marble steps leads down from the kitchen to the spacious lounge diner, with open fireplace. The lounge, kitchen and master bedroom all benefit from large south facing balconies with glorious sea views across to the island of Zante (Zakynthos). 
 
A set of marble stairs lead up to the large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. French doors lead on to a charming balcony providing open sea and coastal views across the country landscape of Spartia. 
 
Across the landing is the attractive second bedroom with views to St. George’s castle, and the XX mountains. Between the bedrooms is the guest shower room, with large walk-in shower, basin and WC. Both bedrooms benefit from large fitted wardrobes. 
 
Leading from the back door of the kitchen onto a large sun-terrace, marble steps take you down to the crazy paving that extends to all sides of the property, and surrounds the large pool and barbeque areas. 
 
The large 11m x 4m pool, complete with Roman Steps, is set within a spacious paved terrace area, which leads onto the large traditional Greek spit style barbeque area, which provides ample work surfaces and serving areas for eating alfresco. 
 
The gardens comprise olive trees providing enough oil for annual usage, many fruit trees, jasmine, honeysuckle and bougainvillea, as well as rose garden lining the barbeque area, large vegetable and herb patch, and gravelled areas enclosing traditional shrubs and plants.

The extensive pool terrace and BBQ area provides an ideal place to relax. The villa is not overlooked from any aspect, and provides a high degree of privacy, in very peaceful surroundings. The village is only a short walk away, and has two mini-markets for everyday provisions, and several tavernas.

Spartia beach is approximately two kilometres, with safe bathing and a choice of good tavernas.

Please note that the quoted prices are for the 2 Bedroom main villa only, with a maximum occupancy of 4. The self-contained apartment will sleep 2 further people, giving a maximum occupancy of 6 for the property, at an additional cost of £220 per week. Please be assured that the apartment will only be let in conjunction with the main villa, and will never be let independently, thus ensuring complete privacy for villa guests. A 20% deposit is required with the initial booking, the balance being due 8 weeks before departure. Full payment details and conditions will be forwarded with the booking form.
