Romer is ideal for those wanting to be far from the madding crowd, but near to a good choice of excellent tavernas, several secluded beaches and pretty terraced gardens and sundecks to relax in. There are two cottages here, Romer with two bedrooms and Les Kai with one bedroom, set apart from each other on a terraced hillside, with a pretty swimming pool set below them, which is not overlooked by either cottage. Romer Cottage is ideal for 4 people, but can sleep five with an occasional bed. Les Kai is ideal for a couple, but does have a sofabed in the living room as well.

From the cottages you can walk into the nearby village where there are a couple of excellent tavernas and a minimarket. A 25 minute walk will take you to the nearest beach, although there are several secluded beaches to chose from, all within a ten minute drive. A three minute drive will bring you into Fiscardo - the delightful fishing and yachting port where there are many quayside tavernas and local bars where you can sit and watch the boats come in.

"I must first apologise for not having put a finger to a keyboard before now and secondly I would just like to say that we had a wonderful holiday at Romer!

It is a place of dreams, a place of tranquillity and peace and a place where you feel obliged, in fact you are almost in some way spirited back to an age, an age when time, well time just stands still. Where all you really want to do, is remember the way it was, I allude not only to Greece but now to the UK, and not the way it is now. No, for us this was a wonderful holiday and one which we will remember down the years.

Anyway, I say again, sorry for the untimely delay in thanking you and your husband for a wonderful venue as well as an intense amount of intelligence on the area.
