Vacation Rental Description
Villa Theodora is an old world villa in secluded village surroundings, renovated with every degree of modern comfort including central heating, air-conditioning, fans, and private pool.  
Its location, just 15 minutes from the airport and in the very centre of the island means that nothing is far away. 
Accommodation comprises three bedrooms (one is a king size double, one has two single beds and one has a double and a single bed). All bedrooms have wardrobes. A spacious lounge has ample seating, dining table and some home comforts such as TV, video, C.D. etc., as well as a two-manual and pedal "classical" electronic organ which any suitably qualified visitor is welcome to play. The villa is a venue for concerts and the lounge accommodates an audience of fifty withour anyone sitting on the organist's lap. 
The kitchen is well equipped with a hob, microwave, fan-assisted oven, washing machine, refrigerator, etc. There is also a large dining table and chairs. 
Outside the villa has a 10 X 5 metre swimming pool with sun-loungers and umbrellas set in an extensive patio. There is also a spacious garden with lawn and a variety of established shrubs and trees.  
Local amenities include a large water park, golf, walking, cycling, traditional taverna with alfresco dining, fine restaurants, mini-market, bakery, filling station, card-telephone, hairdresser, model aircraft, pharmacy, go-carts, craft shop and car and motorcycle hire.  
Villa Theodora has been in the owner’s family for around two centuries and offers superior accommodation in an excellent, convenient, child-friendly location. 
Agios Ioannis is right in the centre of the island with easy access to beaches on both east and west coasts, town and airport. The village has slumbered for centuries under the olive and orange groves. It is now a centre for quiet family holidays, but night-life with discos and such-like are within easy reach. 
The village square with its taverna at which parents sit chatting, nibbling and sipping, while watching their children playing in a multi-lingual babble is only 100 metres from Villa Theodora.  
The taverna also serves delicious meals at very reasonable prices. Nitsa, wife of Kosta the proprietor, aided by her younger daughter, Anna, and Nikos, her son-in-law, prepare meals that attract diners from all over the island. 
The local four-star hotel on the opposite side of the square, together with apartments and villas all around, does not compete in the catering stakes but send its guests to Kosta's taverna for their meals. 
Some thirty years ago Agios Ioannis was the first place on the island to be "discovered" by visiting back-packers who set up the tents amid the olive groves in what is still known as "The Cactus Hilton". Some of those earliest visitors still return bringing their children or even their grandchildren, certain of the warm welcome that the residents extend to every tourist who comes to enjoy our pleasant climate and beautiful environment. Such is its attraction that we have diversified into land and property sales with building management in order to assist the number of our guests who want to find residence here. Lula has become a licensed estate agent!

    Payment of one-third of the total rental is required as a Bookingt Deposit and the balance is due three weeks before the start of the holiday. The Booking Deposit is not normally refunded in the event of cancellation, but we can be flexible if the vacancy is filled. A reduction of ten percent of the rental is made for a two-week or longer booking. A ten percent reduction of the rental is made for returning guests. A ten percent reduction of rental is made for booking more than a year in advance. Instruction for payment will be given upon firm booking requests.
