Vacation Rental Description
The villa is a 2 storey detached close to beach with views over olive grove to Bay of Karystos and the Island of Kea.It is situated in the village of Aetos, a few kilometres from Karystos, the southern capital of the Island of Evia. The nearest airport is Athens and Evia can be reached from there by either taxi or bus to the ferry port of Rafina (cars can be hired from the airport for the duration of stay). At Rafina one takes the ferry to Marmari on Evia and from there it is 17kms to the villa. 
Access is gained via steps from a lower patio area onto main patio, front door leading to lounge off which are a bedroom with twin beds, a seperate bathroom and kitchen with washing machine, oven and fridge freezer. In the longe are TV,DVD and radio with disc player.There is a bed settee and two bed chairs. Patio doors lead onto main patio area with patio furniture. 
The first floor is reached by a spiral staircase and consists of double bedroom with doors leading onto balcony overlooking an olive grove towards the sea.. 
A second bathroom has a seperate bath and shower. The upstairs lounge has a bed settee and bed chair again with doors leading onto balcony overlooking the bay. 
There are two lower patio areas witheach giving areas of solitude shaded by trees. There is a BBQ for use off the main lower patio. 
The villa has central heating if required for use in the winter months  
There are numerous fruit and olive trees in the garden with a hard stand for a car.

    • Although the property itself has not got a swimming pool there are pool facilities guests can use nearby.

    • There are 5 tavernas within walking distance of the Villa and a small shop selling everyday items. 
    The area is surrounded by beaches for safe swimming and is dominated at the rear by Mount Ochi. There are numerous walks mapped out for the area including the walks to Kallandri where the remains of a Roman quarry can be seen. For the adventerous the walk to the summit of Ochi is worthwhile with views down the Aegean along the Cyclade Islands of Andro , Tinos and Mykonos. 
    The town of Karystos is approx 25 min walk or 5 min drive and has numerous bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. There are several banks and a post office. There is also a travel agency which can give advice if guests wish to travel to other islands during there stay and also can organise car hire.

    The prices are for the rental of the property per week and not per person and does include welcome pack and heating and electric. A deposit of £200.00p is required on completion and return of bookng form. The balance to bae paid 7 weeks before departure. The deposit is non-refundable once the booking has been accepted unless under exceptional circumstances. Payment is in pound sterling. In some instances stage payments will be accepted.
