The holiday apartment Velanies is located in a small private holiday complex on a 6500 m2 enclosed property. The Golden Beach about 800 m away has the rare distinction "blue beach", a distinction for stunning water quality.
Velanies is located between Drios (1 km) and Marpissa (4 km). The beautiful fishing village Piso Livadi is located nearby.
The property has a lot of plants. There are palm trees, vinyards, fig trees, lemon trees, oleander bushes and some needle and leave trees - a place of relaxation and a oasis where for real rest and for unwind.
We offer our holiday apartment guests a free transfer in an air conditioned bus to nad from the airport or ferry.
The total size of the apartment is 65 m2.

The spacious bedroom has a size of 20 m2 and is equipped with a double bed 1,8m x 2,0m, two night stands with lights, a large cabinet with three large sliding doors and a commode. Upon request, the bedroom can be furnished with extra single bed or bunk beds. Size of the beds 90cm x 200cm. A crib is availble if needed. In the living room
you will find two more single beds next to eachother (90cm x 200cm). The central airconditioning and the ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room provide for comfortable night temperatures. The bedroom and the living room have a patio door through which you can directly get to the south patio. All windows from the holiday apartment
have fixed mosquito nets in order to provide you with a relaxing sleep.

The spacious bathroom has a surface of 12 m2 with following equipment: two large single sinks - each with a bathroom cupboard, seperate WC, spacious shower (95cm x 1m), washing machine and a laundry stand and a cabinet.
A additional outdoor shower is located at the south patio.

In the region of Velanies you will find inexpensive shopping options, cozy taverns, entertaining bars, and well-kept restaurants. From Velanies you can hike on the historiv Byzantine path to the old chora Lefkes, make an excursion to the monastery Agios Georgios with its aromatic orange and lemon trees, visit the romantic springs near Marpissa, research the antique marble quarry of Marathi. Furthermore, you can go on a day excursion to the small Cyclades (Koufonissi, Iraklia and Skinoussa), Santorini, Delos and Mykonos.
We have also a 43 ft sailing yacht and a 22ft speedboat for individual excursions.

Through the heated flooring and the fireplace oven, the holiday apartment is very cozy during the cooler months
between November and April, ideal months for hiking, trekking and biking.
The south and the west sides of the apartment are covered with a 44 m2 large patio. Under this you will find two spacoius corners to sit in, each for 6-8 people - they provide good protection from the sun. A private covered grilling area with a walled grill is ideal for inviting holiday friends for a cozy BBQ night. This BBQ has its own sitting corner for 6-8 people and a sink.
The kitchen is completely equipped with coffee machine, toaster, hot-water maker etc.
The entire area is covered by a Wireless Lan. The apartment has a dedicated phone number and there are no uplifts on the telephone costs.

Included in the rental price: towels, bed sheets, airconditioning, WLan access, electricity and water. Fees for final cleaning are not due. Special condition for long-term rentals longer than 2 weeks.
