2 Bedroom Cottage in Provarma

Ariadne cottage is situated in the small hamlet of Provarma, 1km from Stilos. With two seperate bedrooms (double upstairs, twins downstairs) plus a single bed on the large upstairs landing, it can comfortably accommodate 5 persons. There is a shower room/w.c on the ground floor and a bathroom with full sized bath and w.c on the upper floor. A self catering kitchen with cooker and large fridge freezer is off the living area which has a dining table and original fireplace. With a tranquil private garden/patio area, this is the perfect choice for anyone wanting an escape from traffic noise and bustle, whilst still having easy access to tavernas, kafeneions and mini markets(1 km.)and beaches (7 kms) 
 
With traditional Cretan furnishings and original features, the house enjoys panoramic views across the fertile plain of olive and orange groves to the sea. A "village" oven and stone barbeque next to the vegetable garden are also available for our guests. The local butchers in Stilos and Armenoi are excellent and even open on Sundays. 
 
Expect to see sheep, chickens, and of course, the neighbours when you stay here. In the spring, the surrounding area is alive with wild flowers and the smell of herbs and aromatic plants, making it an ideal location for walkers, nature lovers and anyone who wants to experience the real Crete.
