Vacation Rental Description
Our Apartment & Studio Hotel Finikas was finally finished in 2009. It consists now of 3 building including a unit of pleasure for body and soul such as massages and gymnastics. There are One-Room Studios (open plan kitchen with dining table, double and single bed, shower / toilet) for up to 3 persons and Two-Room Apartments (same as studio plus additional bedroom with double bed) for up to 4 people, all bright and spacious and with large balcony. Most rooms are big enough for an extra cot.
House I. and House III. are side by side directly on the beach, all apartments and studios with a fantastic view over the long beach and over the Libyan Sea. The accommodations are in the 1.or 2nd floor.
The House II is located on a small hill terrace 15m behind the house I. The top floor of the house I and the ground-floor of house II are on the same level. Between the buildings is a little garden and the balconies on the ground floor are surrounded with flowers.
From all the balconies of the apartments and studios in the middle and upper floor you over look the house I and you can watch the sunset in the sea.
From the garden in front of house I. you enter the hall that is decorated as friendly reception. In the reading/playing corner you’ll meet for sure other customers. The house has an elevator and into the top floor there is a second exit to the garden and the house II behind. The lounge has satellite TV and music installation.
In FINIKAS all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, music system. Also mosquito nets are standard and we provide baby cot or high chair till 2 years free of charge. In some apartments we have ADSL but there is also na Internet access point in the lobby for our guests. Wireless LAN works in front of house I.
In our holiday homes a chamber maid is coming every day and bed linen are changed 2x per week / towels. A washing machine is available for our guests.
Our Apartment house is quiet and just a 3 minute walk away located from the village centre (bakers, mini market, Taverns etc. pp.).
Beach loungers and parasols are available free of charge.
Facilities
Kalamaki is not far away from the famous archiological place like the Minoan Palast of PHAISTOS (=FESTOS = FAISTOS), Agia Triada and Gortis. You can visit many small churches and monastery and as well you can walk and hike through georges and swim near palm beaches. The horse farm is just 5km from Kalamaki beach.
