Set in ancient olive groves for a relaxing and peaceful holiday Villa Ariadne offers luxury and comfort.The Villa is light and airy and all rooms are double aspect so that you can enjoy the lovely views. There are three balconies and a large verandah. Upstairs balconies have fabulous views of the White Mountains and the surrounding countryside to Douliana. You will find all the comforts of home to enjoy in a relaxing and peaceful environment.
On the first floor you will find the open plan Italian style kitchen which is fully equipped with crockery cooking utensils, toaster, microwave full English stylecooker, kettle and coffee filter machine. There are views to Drapanaos and Akrotiri. The living room is furnished with a comfortable 3 seater leather sofa with recliners plus an English double seater upholstered sofa, coffee table, lights and TV with CD DVD player and satellite. There are two balconies one with table and chairs for eating al fresco and the other with chairs and a table. The main bedroom with a comfortable king size all cotton bed, fitted wardrobes dressing table and mirror rugs bedside cabinets and lights plus long flowing voiles is also on this floor: french doors to a balcony plus a window with views to the Mountains. The shower room has a large 900mm shower tray and shower curtain,
The ground floor has two twin bedded rooms with Hand made Cretan pine beds and wardrobes, bedside cabinets lights rugs and mirrors. The bathroom has a bath shower plus the washing machine. The hallway has a full length mirror.
The staircase sweeps down to the ground floor and has a metal balustrade. Bathroom have hairdryers.
There is a superb large 10m by 4.5m pool for all the family to enjoy with easy access Roman steps, outdoor pool shower,6 sunloungers sun umbrella BBQ set in mature gardens with palm and old olive trees, shrubs and flowers, patios, shaded area and electric gated entrance to the property. There is also a large covered carport.
The owners live in the adjacent Villa which is a mirror image of Villa Ariadne and thus face the opposite direction. They are happy to offer help and suggestions if required,
The Villas are private and are not overlooked by other houses. There are plenty of birds, lizards, butterflies
and in the evening small local bats.
The Villa balconies are not overlooked and face West, so ideal for watching the sunsets.
Close by ( 6 minutes by foot along the counrty lane) is the charming and friendly village of Gavalochori with all its facilities- 3 tavernas coffee sweet shop, bakery and minimarkets. There is the famous folklore Museum
which is very popular and the womens co-operative, There are a number of local walks.
There are beaches at Almerida( 4 kms) and Kalives ( 8 kms) with ample choice of restaurants, coffee shops and bars for your enjoyment plus supermarkets and bakeries.
The villa has a great view of the fabulous Cretan countryside.
There is a large covered car port to keep your car cool. The garden is fully fenced with a cretan stone wall and your own sliding electric gate at the front.
We provide a FREE luxury welcome pack including a bottle of organic cold pressed olive oil from the olive trees in the gardens, hand soap and tissues are also provided.

Facilities
Pool towels are provided but are not for beach use. White bed linen is changed once a week and white towels are changed twice a week. Hairdryersare provided.

You will receive a reply to your enquiry the same day. The prices shown are for hire of the villa inits entirety. The villa will be available from 4 pm on your arrival day until 10am on your departure day. A 20% deposit by UK sterling cheque confirms your booking or Euro transfer for Euro zone countries The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your holiday, If booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to arrival then the total amount is due at time of booking the VIlla. Cancellation details are on terms and conditions supplied when booking.
