Vacation Rental Description
Ideally situated in Crete's Apokoronas region, considered by many to be the island's most beautiful, Villa Sinefo Ennea is located in an elevated position with stunning sea views and stands in its own private garden within a small select development. The 40 sq metre mosaic tiled pool to the rear of the villa is shared with four other villas. The garden surrounding the property is on two levels with private areas for sunbathing or sitting in the shade. A wide variety of plants including bougainvillea, palms, fruit trees and cacti are becoming established. Sunbeds and deckchairs are provided.
The villa has to the ground floor a covered terrace area with table and chairs for those alfresco meals with village and sea views. A natural stone paved area with pergola provides a peaceful and shady spot for relaxation.
The open plan lounge/kitchen is furnished to a high standard in a modern style with a double or twin orthopaedic sofa bed, leather chair and coffee table. Guests have the use of a wall mounted cd/mp3 player, flat screen lcd tv and dvd player. A selection of cd's and dvd's are provided, or you might prefer to bring your own favourites. French windows in the lounge look out over the village and sea.
The well appointed modern kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay with a full cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, frappe maker, toaster, ironing facilities and the vital wine glasses and bottle opener!
The Dining area has an extending table and chairs.
Completing the ground floor is a shower room with walk in shower, basin with cabinet above and wc. The marble staircase leads to the first floor and has wall mounted bookshelves with a range of books from fiction to guidebooks and local walks.
The first floor has two bedrooms that share a balcony with pergola and have stunning sea and country views.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and wardrobe safe.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds.
Both bedrooms have air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets, mirrors and hairdryers. Duvets are provided for the cooler months.
The first floor has a spacious bathroom with bath/shower over, basin with cabinet above, wc and washing machine.
The air conditioning units also can act as heaters if required for early and late season visitors. Hot water is provided by means of solar power, backed up by electricity.
The villa has been registered with the Greek tourist board, has an EOT protocol number and complies fully with their regulations. These requirements are comprehensive and cover, for example, fire precautions, environmental inspection, facilities provided, swimming pool maintenance and safety. You can book this property with confidence.
Plaka traditional village square, with its three excellent tavernas, kafenions and mini market is a mere 5 minute walk downhill.
The blue flag beach at Almerida can be reached in 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes by foot. This picturesque seaside village offers beachside tavernas, sailing, windsurfing, mountain biking and car hire, wi-fi internet cafe as well as supermarkets and a bakery. A meal at a traditional beachside taverna as the sun sets and the evening ferry heads off for Athens is a must.
Our blue information folder, kept in the lounge, includes instructions for the various facilities and appliances, together with local information and important phone numbers.

Activities
The local area provides some wonderful walks and a guide book is provided in the villa.
The beach at Almerida is sandy and gently shelving and is ideal for families, sailing and windsurfing hire is also available.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds, payment can also be made in Euros. INCLUDED: welcome pack, weekly maid service, use of safe, air conditioning and cost of utilities. A deposit of £100 per week is required when booking, the balance is due 8 weeks before departure by cheque or bank transfer. A refundable security deposit of £100 is also required Changeover day is Tuesday, but other days can be accommodated.
