'Villa Athina' is an elegant, self-catering, air-conditioned, contemporary furnished holiday house with 4 bedrooms that sleeps up to 8 comfortably. Recently, it has been upgraded with wireless internet and central heating. The upper two floors open onto large L-shape balconies where you can soak up the sun, relax with a drink and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains and to the sea.  
The house features a charming garden, secure gated parking and a large patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee, sunbathe in the afternoons and relax with some local wine or ouzo at night.  
The location combines wonderful sunny weather, crystal clear seas with beautiful beaches, proximity to Athens and the new airport while situated in a quiet residential area. Ideally located also for visits to Athens, island hopping and trips to many fabulous ancient and historical places. 
 
Villa Athina is located in Porto Rafti, a most charming old fishing village, a beautiful holiday resort that has not been deluged by too many tourists, very convenient for the airport and downtown Athens. The sea is crystal clear with a variety of beaches, while the nearest sandy beach of Agia Marina is only 15 minutes walk, perfect for a Summer Sea and Sun Holiday or a city sunny winter break near the sea and Athens. 
 
Contemporary furnished and equipped also with dishwasher and washer machine, the house is fronted with a small herb garden for our guests' use and a further charming garden to the side which provides a pleasant aspect sitting on the large patio area. From the 2 large L-shaped balconies of the house, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains and to the sea. Outside there is a gated secure parking space for up to 2 cars. 
 
With one king en-suite, one double and two twin bedrooms, the villa sleeps 8 and a baby, ideal for families or 'get-togethers', with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.  
Historic Athens is a mere 35 kilometres away, while the impressive temple of Poseidon (Sounio), the Temple of Artemis (Vravrona), the pine forest (Kouvara) with monasteries and picnic area, Marathon, Delphi, Corinthos and many more historical places of interest, offer the prospect of fantastic day trips.  
From the ports of Rafina, Lavrio and Piraeus, you can enjoy day visits or cruises to many islands. 
 
Set on a quiet residential road, about 1.1 km from the sea front, the villa has been designed and furnished with great attention, while creating a warm and homely atmosphere.

    • Bed linen and bath towels are included in the price and are changed weekly. The kitchen is very well equipped with a fitted Mielle fan oven, 4 ring hob, extractor fan, large refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toast maker. We provide kitchen towels, oven mats, bath mats and toilet rolls and some cleaning products to start you off. In the dining area there is a large table with 8 chairs and baby high chair(s) available on request. Pre-arrival cleaning is included in the rental price. You will also find in the house an Iron, ironing board and hair dryers. Our garden and patio have a large table with chairs, parasol, sun-loungers and a free standing barbeque. We will send you a comprehensive guide and recommend places to see, where to eat, suitable beaches. We also stock sun toys, rackets and nets for kids to catch some fish or crabs.

    • The area surrounding Porto Rafti is rich in history and has many beautiful shallow sandy beaches with crystal clear water. You will find many restaurants across the seafront, with authentic Greek food and fish tavernas serving the catch of the day! 
    You can enjoy: water sports, snorkeling, diving off the rocky coast, play tennis, horse-ride, or dance the night. 
     
    The Attica Zoological Park (a few minutes drive) is worth a visit, especially if you have children. 
     
    Athens with its Parthenon, museums and flea market is only 35 km, while the Airport is only 12 km away.  
     
    There are many ancient sites and temples nearby. They include: 
    • The impressive temple of Poseidon in Sounio  
    • The temple of Artemis and museum in Vravrona  
    • The burial mound and museum of Marathon 
     
    • Corinth, Mycenae, Olympia, Epidavros, Delphi offer the prospect of fantastic day trips.

    Rental prices are based in GB pounds but we accept payments of the equivalent in Euros. Please visit our website or email us for detailed prices. Payment mainly by bank transfer or partly by cash upon arrival. Arrival day is flexible. Our rental prices per week but you can stay for as many days as you required (based on the weekly price, assuming that we have availability). The rental prices are per week, for the villa on a self-catering basis and include all bills of electricity, water, air-conditioning, bed linen and bath towels changed weekly and unlimited wireless internet. There is an additional charge for central heating when it's required. The rental prices are for a maximum of 8 people all sleeping in beds. A 50% booking deposit is required with the signing of the rental agreement. A refundable damage deposit of 300 GB pounds or 400 Euro is required.
