WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:  
The penthouse is located directly on what is has been deemed the boarder of the historical Center of Athens. When staying here you will enjoy the site of the Acropolis Rock & Parthenon right from the privacy of our terrace as well as from the bedroom which opens up to the balcony. Visiting the Acropolis itself is a quick and easy venture as the Acropolis Boardwalk, which hosts the New Acropolis Museum, Acropolis Metro Station & leads to the Acropolis, Parthenon, Plaka, Monastiraki,Philoppapus Hill and Thisseon is a quick 7 min walk away. 
 
BEST POINTS ABOUT THE APARTMENT: 
Besides the convenience to the antiquity sites the best points about the apartment is the view from our large private balcony as well as from the bedroom. Aside from the Acropolis, you can also see the Philopappus’ Hill & the Mausoleum. You can also see the Odeum of Herodes Atticus which, every summer, fills with spectators attending performances of ancient drama but also concerts, ballet and opera. 
 
• TIP: At night, try sleeping out on the balcony to feel the evening breeze of Athens City. During the evening hours, the Acropolis & Parthenon are lit up providing an astonishing view of the site. Feel free to slumber on the balcony, basking in the aura of the goddess Athena’s temple with the spirit of this ancient city as your guardian angel.  
 
In general, great pride has been taken in preparing this flat. A beautiful Kore (bust of an ancient Greek maiden) rests in the entrance to the apartment building. Her delicate features highlighted by soft spot lights as she rests on a tall pedestal in such as manner so as to, upon arrival, welcome you to Athens and bless your visit. The temple of Olympian Zeus is two blocks away and the New Acropolis Museum is within walking distance or you may take the metro for one stop from the Fix Metro station. Restaurants, bars, mini-marts are also on site. The areaof Olympian Zeus is full of ancient myths. The river Illissos once flowed through the location. The area was home to the Kallirrhoe spring and the cave of the Nymphs. Next to the spring, the Athenians built Aphrodite's Temple. On its ruins the chapel of Agia Photini (the Saint of Light) was built and it is open in the morning. In the shade of a tree close to the spring, there is the huge rock where Socrates discoursed with his disciples. Also located in this rock is the base of a statue. It is recommended you visit this impressive site. Carved into the large stone, one can easily depict the foundation of where a massive statue once stood.
