Location and Surroundings
Our holiday apartment offers everything that you could expect of a visit to Berlin: It lies directly at the Ku'damm in a quiet side street, with nice cafés and restaurants, bakeries, butchers, organic shops and grocery stores in close vicinity. Trade fair visiters can reach the ITB, Green Week or other fairs in only five minutes!
On foot you can reach two central S-Bahn lines in just a few minutes:
* The Berlin "City line" takes you to the Grunewald, Wannsee or Potsdam every ten minutes. To the east, you can reach central Berlin: the Hauptbahnhof or main train station, Friedrichstraße, Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz are only a few stops away.
* The "Ring line" around Berlin: Get off at the airport Tempelhof, go to Prenzlauer Berg in just 20 minutes or go to the trade fair or the olympic stadium in just five minutes.
* You can also get on a typical Berliner double-decker bus just 100 meters down the road and ride down the Ku'damm on it: Experience luxurious shops, the Gedächniskirche (Church of remembrance - a memorial to the futility of war) and the KaDeWe (literally translated: shopping center of the west)! Or you can continue on, all the way to Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Carlie!

Dear guests!
We have arranged everything for you the way that we would like it for ourselves. We really hope that you feel comfortable here and of course we hope that you will come back in the future!
Our neighborhood or in Berliner slang: “Kiez”
“Kiez” is what Berliners call their neighborhood, the area that they are connected to and do not like to leave. You can find just about anything your heart desires around the Karlsruher Straße. This “Kiez” (or neighborhood) lies in the north of the District Wilmersdorf, on the border to Charlottenburg. It lies within the S-Bahn ring and directly at the top most tip or the west end of the Ku’damm. Despite its central location, this is a quiet residential area with lots of trees and an excellent quality of life.

A tour example in Berlin
When you leave the “Oasis” and go towards the Ku’damm, turn left on Ku’damm and you will find the bus stop
“Kurfürstendamm/Joachim-Friedrich-Straße” after approximately 100m. On the opposite side of the road, the metro busses M29 and M19 stop, which will take you all the way down the Ku’damm to the KaDeWe at the Wittenbergplatz. You will pass by fancy boutiques, shopping chains, a selection of beautiful cafes and restaurants for everyone’s tastes, the Europacenter and the Gedächtniskirche or the Church of Remembrance – Berlin’s memorial to the futility of war.
The M29 then carries on along the Landwehrkanal, to the Potsdamer Platz and then further on to Kreuzberg. It’s almost a real city tour, taking 45 minutes in a double-decker bus. The seats in the front at the top are especially popular amongst children.
