13 Bedroom Self Catering Villa in Bayerisch Eisenstein

The guesthouse is available for large groups to book on a self-catering basis. The property can accommodate a maximum of 31 people in 13 bedrooms (uncluding fold-out beds). All bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, with wc, TV, DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and alarm clock. Most bedrooms have balconies. (Three bedrooms are only accessible via the garden). Bed linen and towels are supplied, along with liquid soap, shower gel and tissues. There is a large guest lounge / breakfast room, with leather sofas, and an open fire place, (an initial supply of logs included in winter). The view from the guestlounge & its balcony overlooks the garden, village and forest beyond. In the guestlounge, there is a selection of books, maps, guide books, DVD and games and toys. There is ample china and cutlery and glassware for guests. The kitchen is commericial in style and has dishwasher, coffeemaker, ice maker, microwave, 6 ring cooker, fridge and kitchen utensils. An initial supply of food is included in the price, enough for breakfast on the first the first morning and includes, tea, coffee, milk, fruit juices, breads, rolls, jams, cheeses, meats, eggs, cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit.
In the garden there is a children play area, with swing, slide etc. There is parking in the front of the property for about 10 cars, there is unrestricted parking on the road if required.
The guesthouse is within 100 meters of forest hiking paths, less than 10 minutes by car or bus to the Arber ski resort, ski lifts & cable car. On the edge of the Nationalparks Bayerischerwald (D) and Sumava (CZ).
The historic cities of Prague, Passau, Regensburg, Munich, Pilsen are an easily accessible as day trips.

The guest house is situated on the lower slopes of the mountain Grosser Arber (1456m), with great views across the village to the Bohemian Forest, in the Czech Republic.. The Guesthouse has 13 bedrooms. All with en-suite shower rooms, hand-basins & toilets. Most rooms have balconies & lovely views. Each room has German satellite TV, DVD player, hairdryer, tea & coffee-making facilities & a file of local information, places to visit, restaurants, etc. (in both English & German). There are 2 single rooms, 8 double rooms and 3 three-bedded (1 double and 1 single bed) rooms. A cot is available at no extra cost. There is a large breakfast room / lounge which has a lovely open fireplace (lit every evening during the winter season), leather sofas & a small library of English & German fiction, DVDs, games, puzzles, guide books & maps for guest use. Free WiFI internet access & a PC is available.

Bikes and attachable buggy are available for hire from the Guesthouse.
The village is on the Glaßstrasse and there are many glass makers in the area.
