There are many places of interest to visit although the area is untouched by mass tourism. A visit to the coast will seem like a journey back in time as the villages and beaches are uncrowded and unspoilt and all sport the blue flag and surveillance by the pompiers (who serve as life savers), there are usually fresh locally caught fish and mussels available at the beach side.
The area has been fashionable with high flying Parisiens who see ownership of the 'country place' in Normandy as a status symbol, the high number of Chateaux and gardens in the area testify that this is nothing new, our own estate was once owned by a favoured King's lawyer.
As with all holidays it would be wise to do your own research into what interests you, or ask us if you are thinking of booking, we know the area well and what is on offer.
The house is a two hour drive to Paris and just under five hours from London through the tunnel.
