Vacation Rental Description
La Grande Maison is a capacious XVIIIth century house which offers all comfort facilities and can accommodate 10 adults (up to 12 people with children). It has been our main home for several years (we now live in Rouen) and we fully refurbished the house.  
On the ground floor is the living room, the dining room with its big fireplace, the kitchen and wc. 
On the first floor are three bedrooms, two with bathrooms. 
On the second floor are two bedrooms, one with bathroom and separate wc. 
On the third floor are two attic bedrooms. 
Accomodation: three rooms with double beds (160cm, 140cm, 140cm), one room with two single beds, two rooms with each one single bed and one room with bunk beds for children. 
Equipement includes washer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, high capacity fridge-freezer, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, barbecue, garden furniture, table tennis, games and toys. 
The village of Cormeilles offers numerous services, shops and activities (supermarkets, food shops, general practitioners, dentists, two banks, chemist, tennis court, fishing lakes, petanque court) and is very well known for its numerous antique dealers. 
Cormeilles is located right in the center of the double triangle Pont-L'Evêque / Lisieux / Pont-Audemer (10, 11 & 12 miles) and Le Havre / Caen / Rouen (32, 40 & 52 miles). 
There are a lot of places of interest. Here are a few examples: 
* The twelve routes to discover the local area on foot, mountain bike or on horse 
* The Busnel Calvados Distillery: 550 yards 
* Le Brévedent & Mont Houel horse training centres: 4 & 8 miles 
* The Cerza Zoological Park: 8 miles 
* The EIA racetrack in Pont-L'Evêque (Lotus Seven, karting, quad): 9 miles 
* The Val des Cîmes Tree Top Adventure Park: 11 miles 
* St Teresa Basilica in Lisieux: 12 miles 
* Deauville & Trouville casinos and beaches: 18 miles 
* The medieval town of Honfleur: 20 miles 
* The Bec Helloin Abbey: 25 miles 
* The Malraux Museum in Le Havre: 33 miles 
* The D-Day Memorial in Caen: 41 miles 
This list would not be full without a word about golf (I have been in the golf business for over 15 years). 
There are 11 Golfs Clubs at less than an hour's drive including Amirauté, St-Gatien and New Golf in Deauville, Champ de Bataille and Etretat. Omaha Beach GC, its 36 holes and the D-Day beaches are a bit further at 65 miles.

    Ideal for a group of friends with or without kids or a family wishing to share some special time together. Also ideally located to visit Normandy. A good mix of busy, convenient and charming village life, countryside proximity, not too far from beaches and numerous activities and places to visit. The house is very comfortable and ideal for relaxing, tourism, sports, gastronomy, culture, golf, hiking, horse riding. It is perfect to share a good time with friends or relatives.We may enjoy the garden and the villagewith its antic shops, restaurants... A 30% deposit is requested on booking and the balance 6 weeks before date of arrival. In case of cancellation more than one month before the arrival date, the deposit is acquired by the owner. In case of cancellation less than one month before the arrival date, the full price is due. Payment by check in Euros, bank transfer or PayPal (payement fees to be added to the price.
