Enjoy a relaxing holiday in an attractive, romantic and luxurious chateau which has been completely restored over the last 5 years. Panoramic views on countryside.
There are 5 double bedrooms - four inside the main building and one in a separate cottage (a chapel in the past) being a studio flat.
Ideal for a holiday in french historic castle either on a Bed and Breakfast basis or on a self catering basis for one week or less.
Located near Roanne and the world famous Michelin starred restaurant Troisgros. Close to Beaujolais and Burgundy vineyards.
Ideal for a stop on the way to the South of France.

Set up close to various interesting spots: The Beaujolais region and its vineyards is 30 minutes away, Roanne and its world famous restaurant Troigros is 20 minutes away, Roman churches in old villages all around, and the hills close by allow some wonderful trekking. 5 minutes away from CHARLIEU, a small and attractive medieval village with an old Abbey. Easily accessible by air (Lyon airport is 1H30 away, Geneva airport 2H), by rail ( 2H30 from Paris with TGV or 1H from Lyon) and by road ( motorways A6 or A71)

Chateau du Mont is a charming château, which offers up to 5 stylish and luxurious bedrooms on a bed and breakfast basis, or exclusive rental use for up to 7 bedrooms.

It’s located in the centre of France,in the Rhône Alpes region, close to vineyards: local wine is called "Côtes Roannaises", Beaujolais is 30 minutes away, Burgundy 45 minutes away.

Chateau du Mont is furnished and decorated with French antiques. All the rooms have modern large double beds.

It is located amid fields where local breed of beef ("charolais") is raised, yet in the middle of very touristic area , with lots of historic buildings within 30 minutes drive (castles, abbeys, roman churches).

10 minutes drive from the medieval town of Charlieu, 20 minutes from Roanne and its famous 3 star restaurant Troigros, and one hour north of Lyon.

30% deposit required on reservation by bank transfer or cheques in Euros in France or in Sterling in the UK. Balance to be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival. Non refundable deposit unless property relet. Rooms available on a bed and breakfast basis from 100 £ to 140 £ per night.
