Solneige is located in the beautiful alpine village of Vaujany, directly connected with the snow secure Alpe d'Huez ski area, which combines the charm of a real mountain village with modern, up-to-date facilities. Staying in one of the most beautiful chalets in Vaujany, you will find all the creature comforts you need to relax, escape and feel cozy after a day of skiing and other winter wonders.  
 
Before dinner you can enjoy an aperitif in the ambiance of our vaulted ceiling living room (70m2) in front of the cosy log-fire or have your after ski in the hot-tub.  
 
Solneige doesn't get more picturesque than this: sipping champagne in your steamy hot tub, the misty white peaks are your back ground.  
 
In the evening we will serve you an unhurried dinner partnered with quality (AOC) wines. You can accompany your after dinner coffee with home made or local digestives.

Our chalet has 6 comfortable, attractively decorated bedrooms with there own en-suite facilities.  
 
3 Double rooms, 2 triple rooms and 1 suite (family room) with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. All the rooms have a big balcony or terrace with breathtaking views over the Alpes.  
All our clients can use the beautiful vaulted ceiling living room with log fire and comfortable couches.  
 
There is a separate DVD home cinema room with a DVD and CD library.  
 
Unwind and rejuvenate yourself in the hot-tub with 62 jet streams for a relaxing close of a wonderful day in the mountains. Comfortable bathrobes are provided. 
 
Solneige is situated just outside Vaujany, and in the winter, we provide free minibus shuttles to take you to and from the slopes.  
In front of the cable car we have heated ski lockers for you where you leave al your equipment safe and warmed. 6 Min later you will enjoy superb skiing on the snowsure slopes of the Grandes Rousses ski area.

In the morning we will serve you a generous breakfast with fresh bread and croissants, home made jams, cereals, orange juce, tea, fresh fruit, eggs and typical French yogurt. At the end of the day an afternoon tea or aperitif with ''tapas'' is waiting for you in front of the fireplace or in summer in the lovely garden. An excellent 4-course dinner will end another beautiful day. Surprise yourself with our delicious dinner, carefully selected with fresh produce of the season, herbs from our own garden, home made chutney and the cheeses of our region. Of course you can accompany these dishes with excellent wines, which are found on our wine card, we gladly advice you. After dinner you can enjoy coffee or tea with home made liqueurs made with fruits of our garden or the local Genepi. Are you a vegetarian or do you have a special diet, please let us know

Vaujany is the gateway to an extraordinary ski area.For beginners and experienced skiers alike, Vaujany's slopes are just perfect for leisure and high-performance skiing. With the greatest altitude range of anyway in the world, offer yourself some skiing freedom through some fantastic scenery. Alpe d’Huez is undoubtedly one of the most well-known outstanding skiing areas of France. It offers serious skiing, as well as the opportunity for family skiing on gentle slopes with total security on 250 km of slopes and 87 lifts. 860 snow cannons ensure you perfect ski conditions for the entire ski season. For the expert, the skiing here offers a new challenge. The ‘’Sarenne’’ is the longest black run in Europe (almost 18 kms) and is notable for its wild, totally unspoiled terrain and outstanding views. Or set off from 3330m on a black and then red runs through the fir trees all the way down to 1100m, without taking off your skis.
