Vacation Rental Description
Le Boulier is situated in the mountain village of Les Coches with stunning views from the balconies of the Tarentaise Valley and Mont Blanc. Le Boulier is an apartment building built in the traditional Savoyard style. Le Boulier is just below the Les Coches pistes and only 30m from the piste to Montchavin. The apartments are in a tranquil setting only a 5 minute walk from the village centre.
The apartments are conveniently located close to slopes, lift system, ice skating rink and a short walk to shops, small super market, tourist office, ski hire, ski lifts, restaurants and bars. There is free parking in front of the residence.
These luxury apartments are privately owned, individually furnished and equipped to the highest standards. Please note that all our apartments are non-smoking.
The ski accommodation consists of spacious main living area (fully equipped kitchen, lounge with double sofa bed and dining area), 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom with wash hand basin and wc and 1 shower room with wash hand basin, separate wc and 2 balconies.
The apartments have TV with English channels, video, DVD player and hifi so don’t forget to bring your favourite music and films with you. There will also be a few books available so if you wish to borrow or swop please do. All the apartments have a dishwasher, oven/microwave, fridge, freezer.
Please note that although this is a self-catered holiday you will receive a high quality service as outlined on the Self-Catered Home Page. Our self-catered rep will be on hand if you have any questions.
Part of our service is to offer you the opportunity of having discounted ski hire, discounted lift passes that can be ready when you arrive and ski lessons that can be booked in advance, just let us know.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help during our stay. It was great to know there was someone around to help if we had a problem or query.
When we got home, I found one of your DVD's in the kids' carry-cases. Sorry about that. I will send it to you via your English address. Was worried in case you thought we had swiped it!!!
Am really missing the snow and skiing but guess we'll just have to wait for a while.

Where shall I start?
We had a fabulous week – great skiing and fantastic weather. The apartment is lovely and situated so beautifully for views and proximity to slopes. Very impressed with the quality and location of it and the services of Ski La Source in general.
We all had ESF lessons, arranged by Linda. Soph did her Class 2, Norman was in a Class 1 group and I had some private lessons with an instructor, as were are all at different levels ( I was the lowest of course!) so we all met in with different people and had a great time. We thought the village atmosphere was super. Their lessons included slaloms and half-pipes and skiing up to the glacier – we have some great photos.
I drove to La Plagne one evening, just to see what it was really like as I did not venture that far on the slopes, (the second chairlift was as far as I went!!). It was ‘interesting’ but I was so pleased that we had opted to stay in Les Coches, much more our thing.
Flights from Liverpool were cheap – got lost on the way from Grenoble as we took the wrong turning immediately on leaving the airport and ended up on a side road heading towards Lyons. But after getting back on track the journey was fine and the journey back so easy of course.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone – lucky you for owning such a grat apartment in an amazing place.

Hi Linda,
Just back from Les Coches and want to tell you what a fabulous time we had. The appartment was amazing - the girls wanted to move in and stay forever. Julie really looked after us and made our time there so easy. Evolution looked after the girls in ski school and they made fantastic progress - making it all the way down from the top of the Dos Rond on the last day. Our other pals want to stay in Boulier next year with all your efforts. We are not sure on numbers yet but we would love to go back the same week next year and take probably 3 appartments. Let me know what you could do and we'll try to book asap.

La Source : our guests comments say it all !
La Source was established, by the two of us, in 1997, when we started with a small 3 bedroom catered chalet. Since then we have slowly grown but are still a small business with very strong roots. Now we offer a wide range of catered and self catered accommodation in Montchavin-Les Coches, a ski station in the Paradiski area. As a couple we are involved with the local community and businesses to help improve and develop our environment as the challenges of the day and age need to be met.
Our goals have always been the same, to try and give our guests the best ski holiday they could have and at an affordable price. All our suppliers are locally run businesses and we work very closely with them to ensure that the quality of their products remain high, from ski schools to our local wine cave (lots of tasting required!).
Our staff are interviewed by us including cooking tests for the chalet hosts. We are always looking for people who share the same values, work ethic, love of the mountains and sense of fun, that we have ourselves.
Our chalets hosts are hired for their personality, enthusiasm, cooking ability and love of the mountains, our reps are experienced in organising and dealing with any challenges their job or we throw at them and our ski host (catered only) is always a very experience skier who loves to share their enthusiasm for the sport with anyone who cares to join them for a half day of full day on the mountain.
Both sides of our business are equally important to us and we have specific services designed for individual needs. Our self catered guests are looked after by our hand picked rep whose sole responsibility is to ensure everyone who stays with us can get the best from their holiday. Our catered guests will enjoy the highest quality home cooked food, comfortable well positioned chalets and the use of our free complementary ski hosting service. We also offer our catered guests a free pickup and drop off service from the local train and bus stations. All our guests will be introduced to their qualified ski instructors, most of whom are friends of ours, pre-booked lift passes delivered to their accommodation and a guarantee that our whole team is there to ensure you have a great time.
