Our studio is located in La Grande Terche, St. Jean d'Aulps in the beautiful Portes du Soleil region. In a peaceful location but very close to the gondola & local village. This is a perfect base for activity holidays such as skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, walking, hiking, swimming, watersports, fishing, golfing, and horse-riding. The Morzine area of the Alps has excellent facilities of all kinds.
Our studio is close to all amenities in the self contained traditional hamlet of La Grande Terche with bars, restaurants, supermarket, ski school, ski hire (www.ski-mobile.com) and St Jean D'Aulps main village 5 minutes away. A ski bus can take you to the next town of Morzine with access to the Portes de Soleil region and over 650km of skiing - the largest ski area in the Alps. St Jean D'Aulps is a traditional Savoyard style village with restaurants and shops with excellent cafes for afternoon coffee.
This is a second floor, very bright and cosy studio apartment which can sleep up to 4. The accommodation comprises a living area incorporating a kitchenette area (fully equipped including a fridge and a microwave); bathroom; separate WC; ski locker and a balcony with stunning mountain views.
The apartment has a double sofa bed in the living area and an adult size bunk bed in the hallway.

We ask that guests bring their own bed linen, towels and tea towels. Duvets and pillows are provided. The sofa bed takes standard double linen and the bunk beds take single size.

Activities
The Grande Terche where our apartment is located is the ski resort for the local village of St. Jean d’Aulps. It is a small friendly village in its own right with three restaurants, one pub, a grocery shop, a ski hire shop, a laundrette and a ski school with crèche all within minutes walk of the apartment.
A short drive (or walk in the summer) down the hill St. Jean D’Aulps offers all the local shops that you would expect (butcher, baker, delicatessen, patisserie, tabac, pharmacy, post office, laundrette etc.) as well as a good sized Champion supermarket, a pub and more restaurants. The pretty village has also has several attractive churches, a town hall and the ruins of a 12th Century Abbey.
