Le Chatelain (apartment) & St Gervais (town) are a fantastic combination to enhance your enjoyment of the mountainous Mont Blanc region which is one of the most beautiful locations in France & Europe, visited by many in winter, summer & all the seasons, for sking, climbing, mountain hiking & other outdoor activities. You are invited to experience the friendliness & quality of mountain life, including regional food-drink & and the many local events that run all year round. St Gervais is well placed for travel to both Chamonix (mountaineering capital of europe) & Megeve (one of the oldest ski resorts in the alps "french chic") and could be described as somewhere between the two! 
 
The apartment can comfortably accommodate 4-6 persons in one large double bedroom, additional cabin with sturdy bunk-beds & choice of double bed settee or pull-out single bed in the lounge. There are two comfy settees, a well equipped kitchen with expanding dining table & seating for 6. The apartment is only rented for some of the year & is normally occupied by the owner which results in a high standard of decoration, together with:

Saint Gervais "Mont Blanc" consists of charming savoyard market towns & villages, traditional building, beautiful hamlets, Baroque Style Churches & wonderful views throughout the seasons. It offers a huge playground of mountain activities from 580 to 4810m, summit of montblanc and has been used as a base to explore the high mountains with local guides since1864. 
 
St Gervais Area: 
 
Take the mont blanc tramway into the heart of the mountains alongside the Bionassey Glacier and to the "Voie Royale" the path to Mont Blanc; then maybe a cable car to le Bettex & Mont d'Arbois for exceptional panorama. Explore 180 km's of marked trails on foot, mountain bike the "Le Diamond Vert" circuit or horse riding. Experience new sensations with local professional guides & instructors in Climbing, Paragliding, Canyoning, Rafting or Ice skating. Tree top adventures await you at the Park in Le Fayet.
