Apartment in St Gervais, France: An attractively furnished and spacious 2 bedroom apartment with accommodation over 2 floors and a very large double aspect balcony, offering magnificent panoramic views of the entire Arve Valley, St Gervais town and Mont Blanc. The apartment is ideally situated on the main piste down to Bettex telecabine from where you have full access to the ST. Gervais & Megeve ski area. The apartment is part of a small set of chalets built in traditional Savoyard style in a peaceful area on the west side of the Mont Jolie valley just above St. Gervais. The chalets have private use of a well maintained heated outdoor pool in the courtyard (30yards from the apartment). The first floor accommodation comprises hall, open plan kitchen and living room (with 2 double sofa-beds), bathroom and WC. The second follr has a double/twin bedroom, a second bedroom with 5 beds (1 bunk and 3 singles) and a bathroom. The balcony faces South and East with 2 outside dinding tables and chairs.

In addition to the above there is paragliding and mountaineering, serious mountaineers should contact a guide either in St. Gervais or Chamonix 20k away. There are very good ski schools in St. Gervais, Megeve and the surrounding resorts. There is also an olympic size ice-skating rink in St.Gervais which, if you do not wish to ice-skate yourself, has some great ice-hockey matches on.

The concierge of the chalets, M Backo, is extremely helpful and despite v. limited English is available in his apartment on the left of the entrance to the chalets. The best internet point is in the commoon hallway next to his apartment.

High Season Price : £620 per Week

We require a deposit of £150 or 150 euros to secure your booking which is separate from the rental amount and will be cashed. We expect to receive the full rental amount 4/5 weeks before your departure date. After we receive the full amount we will send you out the key to the apartment. When you have returned the key after your stay and we have confirmed with our French cleaner that the apartment has been left clean and tidy, we will return your deposit amount. Any breakages or extra cleaning neede will be deducted from the deposit amount. In the event of a cancellation the deposit will be forfeited. We accept cheques in pound sterling or euros.
