Chalet Richebourg is a traditional Savoyard chalet, which has been refurbished and can sleep 8 plus 2 people comfortably in 4 rooms, 3 of which are en- suite. Breakfasts served every day, snacks available anytime; summer holiday prices include packed lunches. Gourmet evening meals with free beer and/or wine. Large open plan living area - Relax on the squashy sofa's, or sit around the large dining table. Enormous log fire for chilly evenings. BBQ and private courtyard for outdoor dining in summer. The en-suite rooms all have twin beds, which can be pushed together to form big comfy doubles; the third en-suite room sleeps up to 4 people using a bunk set. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and washbasin. Upon entering the chalet, there is a large entrance hall, with a well equipped kitchen leading off to one side. Through double doors, the chalet has a spacious open plan sitting and dining room, cosy log fire for winter evenings, TV with UK BBC channels, video player and Playstation 2. Accessed through a door off the dining area, there is a separate WC, washbasin and utility room with washer and dryer, fridge for cold drinks and a large freezer. The chalet is south-facing and the enclosed courtyard-style terrace receives the sun’s rays all day. We have got a heated boot-room, which will ensure that boots and coats, etc. will all be dry and warm for the next day's activity, whether it is skiing, walking or mountain biking.

    • For winter skiing holidays, the Portes du Soleil region is the largest ski area in the world and has 628kms of piste, 288 marked slopes, 209 ski lifts and covers 8 French ski resorts and 6 Swiss resorts! The chalet is ideally placed to provide swift access to a number of Portes du Soleil ski stations. Any one resort will provide extensive skiing, however, the linked Portes du Soleil network provides lots of extra choice. Beginners especially welcome - help with ski passes, ski hire and lessons. In summer, the chalet can be booked for all-inclusive walking holidays - 5 or 8 days, as well as cycling holidays, B&B accommodation, or a relaxing self-catering break. The spectacular Ponts du Diable (Devil’s Gorge), is only 2 kilometres from the chalet. Lake Geneva and the spa-towns of Thonon-les-Bains and Evian-les-Bains are approx. 20 kilometres away. The village of Le Biot has a Post Office, Tourist Office, Bar, Bakery and village shop.
