Morzine is an all year round resort which retains the picturesque charm and culture of its farming background with weekly demonstrations of the local traditions of cheese making and slate mining. Morzine is one of the 12 villages that make up the linked ski area of the Portes du Soleil area with over 650 km of piste with a host of easy blue runs for beginners, encouraging reds for intermediates and challenging blacks and off piste of more advanced skiers and snowboarders.
