5 Bedroom Chalet in Megeve

The chalet is substantially built with generously proportioned rooms and benefits from a great location in the delightful town of Megeve. 
5 BEDROOMS : - 2 Doubles with en-suite bathrooms, both can be made up as twin or triple bedrooms if prefered. Double bedroom with private balcony overlooking Megeve. Large twin bedroom, Bedroom with bunk beds plus a twin bedroom in the eaves. All bedrooms have ample storage space, with drawers and hanging space. 
OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES There are 2 sunny balconies, outdoor dining for 12 people and 2 barbeques. There is a large garden with sunbeds(summer) and a storage locker for skis etc. Badminton, kites, golf clubs and sledges are available. There is off-street parking 
INDOOR LIVING SPACES. The sitting room has a log fire. There is a selection of toys and games including Jenga, jigsaw puzzles, board games, cards and a poker set. There is an MP3 speaker system, Satellite TV, DVD player and games console if you just want to chill out. The dining room seats 12 people. 
LAUNDRY ROOM. There is a large drying and laundry room equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. 
KITCHEN. The kitchen is well equipped with everything from an apple corer to a zester including a food processor, health grills, 2 electric pierrade/raclette machines plus a wide range of baking equipment, pans and utensils.  
LOCATION The chalet is a five minute walk to town centre and nearest ski lift. The chalet is also only 100m from the bus stop. There is a frequent free bus service serving the ski slopes. 
CATERING Should you wish us to cater some or all of your meals please contact us for sample menus. Breakfast is 30 euros per head per week. Afternoon tea 25 euros per head per week. Evening meals for winter 2012 start at 17.50 euros per head per night for a plat du jour including beer, wine and soft drinks to 27.50 euros for a five course meal with wine, beer and soft drinks.  
CLEANING The chalet is cleaned on 5 days during the winter and the prices include final cleaning

Megeve is a wonderful location for a holiday whatever the season. WINTER There are 450km of pistes perfect for the all skiers. If downhill skiing is not your thing then there is a wide range of winter activities including snow shoeing, cross country skiing, dog sledging, ballooning etc. For a relaxing break there are spas, bars, restuarants, wonderful shops, as well as a lively nightlife including a casino, the jazz club, and several nightclubs to keep you out until the wee hours. SUMMER The ski lifts are open in the summer giving easy access to the high mountains. Megeve has a summer pass which includes entry to the fanastic sports centre, the lifts as well as the summer luge and mediatech. There are designated mountain bike and walking trails which offer breathtakiing views of Mont Blanc. There are several swimming lakes nearby and you can climb, canyon, white water raft and hang out at the tree adventure park.

In the winter there is skiing, cross county skiing, snowboarding, snoeshoeing, sleigh rides and dog sleding. Note that the ski slopes offer 450km of pistes and you can ski from valley to valley and village to village.
Many of the ski lifts re-open for the summer and you can take your bike up with you. The views from the top are amazing you get fantastic views of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. From here or direct out of the chalet there are multiple walking and cycling trails for all abilities.
The sports centre a short walk from the chalet has 4 swimming pools,gym,climbing wall,sauna, archery and much more
Summer events plus those above include parapenting, hot air ballooning, canyoning and tree adventure.
Only an hours drive from Chamonix,Annecy and Geneva(Switzerland)and 90mins from Italy an ideal base for a holiday in Europe.
