Chalet-Hotel La Tania is the latest addition to our collection of properties in the popular ski resort of La Tania in the French Alps. We also have Chalets Felice, Philipe and Rousset which are self-catered, with the possibility of flexible catering. All are in excellent locations, very close to the village centre, slopes and lifts. The Chalet-Hotel La Tania

Opened in time for the start of the 2007/08 season, this fully catered chalet sleeps up to 27 guests, in 12 bedrooms, mostly en suite. We are also delighted to be able to offer flexible stays here – 5, 6 or 7 night packages are available, starting on any day, so that you can take advantage of cheaper mid-week flights and quieter times at the airport, on the roads and on the slopes. Dependent on availability, we may be able to offer shorter or longer stays.

The catering consists of a hearty hot and cold buffet breakfast with tea, coffee and juices; afternoon tea laid out for your arrival from the slopes (always with a home-baked cake or cookies); and an excellent 3 or 4 course dinner with quality wine, beer or soft drinks. The Chalet-Hotel is staffed by enthusiastic, committed and friendly people, who offer a great service, with a smile! They have one well-deserved night off per week, when you can take advantage of one of the very good restaurants that La Tania has to offer - there is even a Michelin-starred restaurant. Advice can be given about booking, when in resort. On the staff night off, breakfast and afternoon tea will be left out for you

Prices for all our La Tania chalets include bed linen, towels, beds made up on arrival and end of stay cleaning. Thanks to extra large hot water tanks, there is a plentiful supply of hot water in all chalets. There are local English-speaking contacts in case of any problems. La Tania is part of the world-renowned 3 Valleys – Les Trois Vallees – which, with 600km of pistes is huge! The 3 Valleys is served by over 200 lifts. However, you don’t have to obtain the full 3 Valleys area lift pass, to enjoy varied and challenging skiing. The La Tania local pass covers Courchevel too, which consists of villages at altitudes 1300, 1550, 1650 and 1850. The 3 Valleys enjoys an enviable record of snow reliability. There is an extensive system of snow cannons which can ensure good cover if needed.

La Tania - in the heart of the Savoie area,French Alps, part of the world-famous 3 Valleys (Les Trois Vallees) ski area, is the ideal alpine holiday for groups of family or friends, and offers shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The views are stunning in all directions. Meribel and Courchevel are close by and can be reached by car, bus or cycle. La Tania was created for the 1992 Winter Olympics, and is now a thriving village in it's own right. There are plenty of little cafes, bars and restaurants, plus a supermarket and smaller shops. There is also a cinema, and swimming pool. It's a compact, pedestrianised centre with everything very conveniently placed.

CIRCUS SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN…
The Tourist Office offers a Circus Course for children aged 6 - 16 which has been hugely popular in the past summer seasons. Children learn traditional circus activities: tightrope walking, juggling,trapeze with a show at the end of the week.

This is a fully catered property offering great food and wine, with friendly and helpful service from the staff of 3 or 4 experienced chalet hosts/chef. Short breaks are available.

A great location for summer or winter holidays, as La Tania is a very conveniently laid-out resort. Nothing is far from anywhere in and around the village, making all amenities easily accessible.

There is a large heated ski room with heated boot warmers, and most rooms are en suite. The staff are happy to organise high chairs or cots for little ones, and early suppers for young children.

The location is excellent, being just 150m from the pedestrianised village centre of La Tania. The ski school meets there, and the main lifts start from the centre, with the nursery slopes becoming sledging runs when the lifts close.

Low Season Price : £300 High Season Price : £600 per Week
30% deposit to book, with balance due 10 weeks before arrival. Arrivals in less than 10 weeks mean full balance is payable on booking. We accept euros or sterling, via cheque or bank transfer, or card payment with 3% bank charge. Deposits are non-refundable, and we strongly urge clients to have a comprehensive travel insurance policy with cancellation cover. Full Terms & Conditions are available on request.
