5 Bedroom Chalet in Samoens

Chalet Sisu is situated right beside the ski slopes in the village of Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval, part of the Grand Massif ski area that includes Samoens and Flaine. The location is stunning - from the chalet there are panoramic views of the mountains which rise on all sides. 
 
 
The chalet has five twin/double bedrooms, three bath/shower rooms and a games-room. Chalet Sisu sleeps ten people in comfort - top quality, modern accommodation in a spectacular mountain setting. The chalet has five double/twin bedrooms, three bathrooms and spacious living accommodation, including a modern kitchen, lounge with wood burning stove, a games room and a large south facing terrace. There is free Wi-Fi Internet at the Chalet . 
 
 
The chalet is rented on a self-catering basis, but we also offer catered options. Choose from the "A la carte" meals service from De La Terre (for selected meals) or go for the Half-Board package. Chalet Sisu is near the top of the village, so whilst road access is good there is very little traffic. The access road leads to the front of the chalet, but at the rear the garden opens directly onto the pistes - wonderful for skiers, children and explorers of all ages! It is just 75 minutes drive from Geneva Airport to the chalet. 
 
 
In winter the chalet is usually ski-in, ski-out, and in summer the chalet offers a great base for walking and mountain biking, rafting and rock climbing. 
 
 
The village of Six offers all essential amenities: a boulangerie, a small supermarket, restaurants and sports shops. Samoens (5km away), offers a wider range of shops, further ski access and (in summer) a good swimming pool, adventure park and peaceful lakes.

Please note: some parts of the bedrooms on the top floor have a height restriction.

Rock climbing - from V Diff to HVS standard on Sixt’s crags, Via Ferrata (climbing on routes with fixed ropes) - from Sixt (you can watch the climbers from the kitchen window!). 
 
Road Cycling - for example the Col de Joux Plaine (Tour de France route - Floyd Landis' infamous 2006 Morzine stage win was here). 
 
Swimming Pool, Tennis and Adventure Park - Samoens, Animation (childrens activities and entertainment) - Samoens, Parapenting - Samoens. 
 
Ski in/out to the local resort of Sixt in season, with easy access via Ski Bus or Car to the larger Grand Massif resort via Grand Massif Express lift in Samoens. 14km ski run back to Sixt from Flaine. 
 
Cross country skiing available in the village of Sixt and at higher levels within easy access.
