Stylish newly renovated chalet, 300m from the historic centre of the unspoilt village of Samoens. There are 3 units within Chalet Moccand which can be divided into the main chalet sleeping 10/12, the apartment sleeping 6/8 and 'The Mazot' sleeping 6. If combined, the whole chalet sleeps up to 25 and every bedroom has its own bathroom! This chalet has all modern and luxury conveniences including wifi, satellite TV, Wii, PlayStation 2, and is located on the flat. The main chalet consists of 5 spacious double or twin rooms sleeping 10/12, all have contemporary bathrooms. Rooms have stunning Samoens views overlooking the private garden, 2 also have a balcony. The self contained apartment occupies the top floor with a private mezzanine, this has 2 en suite doubles and a 3rd twin mezzanine bedroom with family bathroom. Occupying the entire top floor of the house, with its own private entrance is our large 3 bed, 3 bathrooms, self catered apartment, sleeping 6-8. This comprises of 2 en-suite double bedrooms, a light and spacious open plan lounge with sofa bed, separate sofa, satellite TV, DVDs, wireless Internet and stereo, a dining area seating 8 and fully equipped kitchen. A further bathroom leads off the lounge as well as wooden stairs lead up to a private mezzanine bedroom, ideal for children or adults wanting a cosy bedroom - which is equipped with a separate Playstation 2 and TV. 2 sets of double doors lead of the living accommodation onto the south facing balcony. The views are spectacular and a waterfall can be seen most of the year. For larger groups the apartment can join with the main chalet occupying the first 2 floors, this sleeps an additional 10/12 people.

The chalet is situated in a quiet spot, just 5 minute walk to the historic centre of Samoens and the supermarket, shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. In winter the frequent ski bus stop is 50 metres from the chalet or the main lift is a 12 minute walk. Samoens is the only ski resort classified by the registry of historic monuments, hence the beautiful village and surrounding area is protected and hasn’t been spoilt by mass tourism. Samoens ski area is part of the Grand Massif which is one the largest ski areas in Europe, joining with Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt, comprising of over 260 km of piste. In addition, the chalet and Samoens are just 1 hour’s drive from Geneva airport and is one of the closest ski resorts from Calais at just 511 miles. 
 
The summers are amazing here and the scenery is as breathtaking. It is a perfect resort for an individual or family activity holiday, with waterfalls, mountain lakes, rafting, hiking, biking, adventure parks all walking distance.
