Vacation Rental Description
Résidence le Chamois Blanc is a modern apartment block, literally yards from the bars, shops, restaurants, ski lifts and ski-bus terminal of the delightful town of Chamonix Mont-Blanc. The fifth floor apartment (lifts to all floors) offers comfortable accommodation for 4 people and has a full kitchen (with oven, hob, microwave, fridge /freezer) washing machine, bathroom, separate WC, dining area, double bedroom and double sofabed in the lounge. Unlike most apartments of this type, the bathroom and WC can be accessed privately even when the sofabed is in use. Facing south-west, it has stunning views of Mont-Blanc. The apartment is managed by Mountain-base.com, a french registered company owned and managed by Andy & Matt who live in Chamonix and can provide any information you require and as experienced skiers themselves can provide details of the right ski areas for your level of ski experience and capability. Andy & Matt speak fluent French. We are happy to pre-buy your ski passes and book your lessons, guides, heli-hiking or whatever you would like to do and deliver the tickets / passes to you on arrival so that when you arrive, you are ready to go. No queueing on first day to book everything. This is a FREE service we offer. You are personally greeted by Mountain-base Lifestyle, a subsidiary company who can explain all the facilities and activites on offer, help and assist you so you gain the most from your vacation through Mountain-base.com.
Facilities
This 5th floor apartment (lift to all floors) is in the heart of Chamonix, close to the ski-lifts and the ski-bus pickup. Ideal for winter and summer holidays. Min 4 day rental with flexible booking. Ski passes, guides, paragliding and all activities can be booked through us. Geneva airport 1 hours' drive. Bus & train service available. Chamonix has a new indoor swimming pool situated within walking distance, along with a bowling alley and skating rink. Your Ski-pass entitles you to reductions at the Spas, 30 minutes away in Italy. There are also Spas in Le Fayet (20 mmins) and Lavey les Bains, 45 mins away in Switzerland. The town offers a vast range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. There are several take-aways for those wishing to eat at home without cooking, however, with a Supermarket less that 100 metres away and a fully equipped kitchen in the apartment you can easily enjoy home cooked meals if you wish.
Activities
Ski-passes, lessons, guiding, off piste skiing, ski-hire, paragliding, rafting, massages etc can be pre-booked through us at no extra cost to you and will save you time on arrival (no queueing for ski lifts and passes) and allow you to ski soon after you arrive! We have access to pre-buy all these items the week before you arrive and as the queues at the beginning of each new week can be long, we strongly recommend you take advantage of this service. You cannot buy the passes/tickets any cheaper yourself but you will have to wait if you do it yourself.

Just love Moraira
Moraira has been our holiday destination of choice for over 15 years. We have seen it grow and prosper from a little fishing port with very little for the tourist or resident to an upmarket town with superb restaurants, a lively marina with huge yachts and shops to accommodate their owners.
Luckily, many years ago, the town council decreed that Moraira should not have any high rise apartment blocks or hotels. This has preserved the town with mainly owner-occupied Villas and no mass tourism. It is a family town with everything to suit.
We were lucky enough to find the only old Finca within easy walking distance of the town and beaches. It was built as a Cortillo over 300 years ago and nestles just below the rise so it was out of view of the pirates sailing the high seas. Today it is a great family location and has been updated to provide all the requirements needed in terms of bathrooms for each air-conditioned bedroom, a modern kitchen, various patios and outside spaces in which to relax. Our poolman reckons that ours is the warmest of all his pools as it is so secluded and is in the sun all day.
Our guests are all family groups, usually celebrating a significant birthday or wedding anniversary and attract groups with 3 generations enjoying our Finca together. Most return year after year, hence the early booking confirmations!
We have El Membrillo in Moraira and two apartments in Chamonix Mont-Blanc and are experienced in knowing what our guests want, need and expect. We try to provide all those things and with our Son's agency, we provide a bonded (French Registered Company, Carte Professionelle) so any money paid to us is secure and bonded for your protection. (Very few Villa owners offer this protection)
