Set high on the hillside of Les Contamines with stunning views over the mountains, village and ski area, this is a beautiful, spacious chalet decorated in a modern luxurious style. It boasts comfortable beds and sofas, plentiful hot water for the powerful showers and bath, high specification fittings and equipment, 2 TV/DVDs and a host of family extras like DVDs/videos, toys, high chairs and cot. It is quiet - backing onto a nature reserve but is only a 10 mins walk to the restaurants and shops of the village.
Les Contamines was described by Reuters "Where to ski" as a "charming, unspoiled French village with reliable snow", only 1 1/4 hours drive from Geneva. It is a pretty authentic village with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. The ski area boasts magnificent views over Mont Blanc, 120km of mixed pistes - a lot of wide blues and reds but also substantial off-piste terrain and snow park, with a maximum alltitude of 2457km. There are nursery slopes both in the village and at both main stations - each separated from the main piste, so beginners can learn in peace without having experts flying down behind them! There is ample parking at the base of the telecabines and lots of excellent mountain restaurants.
In the summer the place is buzzing; with walkers, climbers mountain-bikers and holiday makers playing in the fabulous leisure park (tennis courts, boating lake, swimming lake, aerial-runway in the trees, driving range, play park)

The chalet is beautfully furnished in a luxurious, contemporary style. It is light and spacious with very comfortable beds and sofas and a plentiful supply of hot water for the powerful showers and bath. It was bulit to a high specification and furnished with good quality equipment; there are 2 good size TV/DVDs (with videos and DVDs available)

Low Season Price : £600 High Season Price : £1800 per Week
A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. This can be by cheque or by bank transfer in sterling or euros. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Moneys to be withheld on cancellation unless an alternative booking is taken for that peeriod. Unlike many French properties we don't charge for bedding and towels but a 100euro cleaning charge is payable locally in line with their custom.
