Wonderful spacious house spread over 3 floors. Modern comforts in an enchanting house. Will suit those who like 'old stones' an lots of history. Part of the house dates back to 12c and is believed to be the main gatehouse to the village. Cosy for just two and big enough for up to 6.
Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Furnished to a high standard, with typical fabrics and furnishings from the area. For extra guests there is a fold out sofa and a folding cot.
A complete and fully equipped kitchen: Includes everything you need to produce that gastronomic surprise.
Kitchen is en suits-open plan- linking to the dinning/family area with open fire, buffet cabinet,bookshelf, selection of board games for winter use and for rainy days.
The house is situated in a small pathway which runs between house and rampart walls. Quite private and good for sitting outdoors under the shade on very hot days.
There is of course a roof terrace.
Windows look out onto quaint narrow streets with no through traffic.
Parking is free and lies just the other side of the ramparts.
Children are welcome but because of the layout of the house, it could be hazardous for the smaller child, BUT there is a children's park, again just the side of the ramparts.

One en suite vanity room facility upstairs.
This house is cosy in winter.
In the heat of the summer it is cool in the downstairs rooms, a consideration for those who don't especially enjoy heat.
Upstairs is light airy and attracts the suns warmth.

A cleaning and linen service is provided at a small extra cost. For up to 2 weeks a 15 euro charge is made per person for laundry service. Guests are welcome to bring there own laundry, but it is preferable that they use the laundry service provided. The house is rented on a 'leave it as you find it' understanding, so the house should be left clean and tidy for arriving guests. Refer to contract at the time of booking. With prior agreement the final clean may be done by the femme de menage and is charged at 15 euros per hour. This contribution is paid to the local Femme de Menage direct and is quite important in small villages as Venasque because it helps to keep the local economy going. Full facilities/machines/equipment are in the house for longer stays where laundry and cleaning can be done by the guests themselves. WELCOME PACKS for late arrivals. Basics will be purchased at 15 euros per person for breakfast essentials.

LEARN FRENCH!!! Lessons can be arranged. 20 euros per hour, with local teacher.
