Vacation Rental Description
The cottage is situated on a hillside one and a half km from the charming village of Roaix and six km from the small town of Vaison la Romaine. Vaison is famous for its tuesday market and its impressive Roman remains. The roman theatre is still in use today for open air concerts that are staged throughout the summer months. The cottage itself is built in the large garden of the owner, it is quite independent of the owners house. The garden is surrounded by vines and forrest. The views over the countryside are quite outstanding. The summit of the celebrated Mount Ventoux can be seen from the garden. Mount Ventoux is one of the most difficult stages of the Tour de France and keen cyclists come from all over the world to undertake the exausting climb to the top. There is a shared and very private swiming pool at the back of the house. The cotage has two bedrooms a bathroom and a combined kitchen living room. The living room opens out onto a terrace.
