Vacation Rental Description
We often looked for a holiday that would provide quality self catering accommodation with the use of a swimming pool, whilst having our own privacy and perhaps the opportunity to meet fellow travellers to share the odd story with over a glass of wine. An easy brief but we found it so hard to find! Therefore we decided to create it ourselves, within walking distance of one of the most authentic villages in the Luberon.  
 
Adjoining our own newly built home and set in a former olive grove and fruit orchard, our two, one bedroom gites, each sleeping two, enjoy wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and Luberon hills. We are on hand to welcome you and offer any information you require to enhance your holiday.  
 
The gites with their ancient Provencal roof tiles, traditional wooden windows and shutters and beamed vaulted ceilings offer all home comforts. Each gite has a comfortable living room with sofa, table and chairs and is open plan to the kitchen, which is fitted with electric oven, a gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Naturally for breakfast we provide a coffee maker, kettle and toaster. If you really want to relax we can offer a traditional French breakfast served on your terrace.  
 
The bedrooms have built in wardrobes, double beds with cool fresh sheets and luxurious en suite shower rooms with wc and wash hand basin. (All linen, towels including pool towels are provided). Each gite has a flat screen TV which receive both French and English channels, and there are also 
I-pod docking stations and high speed internet access for your personal use.  
 
French doors open onto a private covered terrace equipped with furniture and a barbeque for outdoor dining, and access to the garden areas and swimming pool.  
 
For your added comfort the gites are cooled by an under floor refresher system which also provides heating in the winter period and solar panels provide unlimited hot water. A washing machine is provided for the use of both gites, and there is plenty of space for parking.  
 
Our home and gites are quietly tucked away, yet within a short walk of the village. Approached by a driveway of olive and cypress trees we have just over an acre of grounds with fruit trees, plenty of seating areas to relax and a superb heated infinity swimming pool (10 x 5m) with spacious sun bathing area, pool house and a view of the chateau.

    • Having holidayed in Provence we have stayed in a variety of gites and houses. These experiences, some good some less so, inspired us to create something special for our guests. Enticed by the beauty of this region and French way of life we settled in St Saturnin Les Apt in 2005. St Saturnin Les Apt is one of the few unspoilt hillside villages in the Luberon, Provence, just 7 kilometres from Apt and close to Bonnieux and Gordes. The historic towns of Avignon and Aix en Provence are about 45 minutes away by road. We have created a variety of accommodation to suit single people, couples and families. All the properties enjoy a superb view of the Luberon, are equipped to ensure a very comfortable holiday and are within walking distance of the village. Les Oliviers and Les Cerisiers (each sleeps 2) are one bedroom gites with private terraces and share a heated infinity swimming pool.

    Once we have confirmed availability of your holiday dates, we request a deposit of 25% of the total rental cost in £sterling or Euros. If you are booking within 8 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. Our postal address for payment by cheque or details for bank transfer payments, are available upon booking. Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, we will send a confirmation invoice and statement, which constitutes the formal acceptance of the booking. Your final payment is due 8 weeks before your arrival. We do not ask for a damages deposit, instead we rely on your goodwill to tell us in the event of any breakages or accidental damage. We ask that you clean the property prior to departure but if you would prefer not to do this , pay the optional cleaning charge of 45Euros.
