This beautiful stone built house was the hunting lodge of the Prefect of Avignon. Now converted to a luxurious house with three double bedrooms, all ensuite, a separate shower room accessible by all guests, a large semi-circular drawing room (with open log fire), a smaller sitting room with TV and DVD (with open log fire), a kitchen/dining room (with open log fire).  
The house has a stunning large pool (15m x 7m) with summer kitchen, dining area, barbecue and fountain. 
All linen and towels provided. 
There is a nearly new tennis court shared with another house on the estate. 
This farmhouse has five double rooms all ensuite, and is also available for letting.It has its own pool. 
There is also a separate cottage with two double bed and rooms, sitting room and shower room available for extra accomodation if required.

    • There is much cultural life in the area, including music festivals in Aix en Provence and Avignon, a wonderful opera sometimes in the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Orange. 
    The area has many beautiful walks, and the property enjoys wonderful views across the valley to the Luberon mountain. 
    The wines of the region are quite excellent, and there are opportunities for wine-tasting. 
    Local markets are located regularly in all the surrounding towns, and the area is well known in France for its fruit and vegetable production. 
    The huge antique market each weekend in Isle sur Sorgue is well worth a visit. The town is criss-crossed by rivers like a miniature Venice.

    50% Deposit to secure booking 50% the week before arrival. Clients are expected to take insurance against cancellations, as the rents paid cannot be reimbursed unless it is possible to re-let the house. Payments by Bank transfer or cheque.
