3 Bedroom House in Bonnieux

This is a very old, renovated house at the summit of the famous hilltop village of Bonnieux, right in the centre of the Luberon national park. There's a neighbouring house on the left, but it's no nuisance at all for the intimacy is completely preserved.The house is sheltered from the Mistral,it's facing south.It's about 90 m2, and the garden is made of 2terraces, about 900m2 in total:the house is perched on the rock and there're no railings, so it's very dangerous for young children, so we formally advise you to rent if it's your case! 
There's easy, free parking on the road; You enter the house in the main room, the kitchen-dining-room opening south on a small terrace and East on a big terrace, then on the ground floor, you can find a very picturesque trogodyte living-room,conveying a very particular atmosphere typical of provencal houses in the region.Upstairs,you've got 3 bedrooms: the main bedroom with a double bed with a gorgeous view south on the Luberon mountain, another room with 2 single beds, and a smaller one with 1 single bed; then, the bathroom and toilets. 
The decoration is refined, in the style of the region,with antiques, the floors are with terracotta or white stone from Ménerbes, provencal ceilings with beams,different elements with character give a very special atmosphere. 
What is very rare in a village, is a house with a garden: outside, you'll find a big, natural stone terrace,a fantastic place to have your meals!it opens onto the garden, with a "borie", stone construction typical of the region,there're mediterranean plants; the garden is built on 2 terraces, on the upper one,you can find a wonderful overflowing pool from which you can see part of the village and, above all, the undulating mountain. 
The house is situated on top of a village where you can find all you need as far as shops are concerned(baker,butcher, grocer, etc)as well as restaurants.There's easy access to hiking lanes. 
From Bonnieux,you can visit many other famous villages: Gordes(20mn),ochre-coloured Roussillon(15mn),Lacoste(5mn)Ménerbes (20mn)Lourmarin(15mn)etc.The small town of Apt (12km) is popular for its market on saturdays.Avignon in 50 mn away (the highspeed TGV train stops there) Aix (45mn). 

We provide 1 pair of sheets per bed per week, as well as 1 bath towel per person.If you need more, some are available in the bathroom, but we ask our guest to have them washed before leaving! The end- of -stay-cleaning is included in the price.
