Vacation Rental Description
Le Chemin des Rêves, located in the heart of the Luberon, is surrounded by towering pines and three varieties of oak trees--Green Oak, White Oak and Kermes Oak. As you walk around the one hectare of land your senses will be awakened by the aromas of wild thyme, rosemary and lavender. You will find 50+ olive trees and more than 300 lavender plants which will be in full bloom during July. Adjacent to the lavender field stands a Borie that has been carefully restored by local artisans. At the rear of the house you will find a stone picnic table for lazy Provencal lunches in the shade. In addition, you will also find an herb garden with everything you will need to compliment the meals you prepare in the gourmet kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with copper pots and pans and most utinsils that you are accustomed to using in your own kitchen at home. Included is a wonderful five-burner gas cooktop, oven with rotisserie, full-sized refrigerator with freezer, microwave and dishwasher. In the adjacent utility room, you will find a second refigerator, clothes washer and dryer. The dining room table comfortably seats 8 persons for memorable dinner parties. You will find table linens and all dinnerware at your fingertips. The living room has an oversized fireplace and is tastefully decorated with comfortable leather furniture where you can relax and enjoy a spectacular view of the valley from the french doors. The den is equipped with WiFi if you bring your own computer. There is a printer/fax machine, satellite TV, DVD player with lots of DVD's available, radio/CD player and many CD's from country music to classical music. Also, there are many books and magazines for your reading pleasure as well. All three bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, bathroom with two pedestal sinks, shower, bathtub and WC. The master suite has a table for intimate dinners and french doors that open to the terrace and afford a beautiful view of the pool, gardens and the valley. The second bedroom has queen-sized bed, bathroom with two sinks, shower and WC. The third bedroom has twin beds which can be combined to make a king-sized bed if you prefer, bathroom with sink and shower and WC attached. All bedrooms have a CD player/radio with wake-up alarm. Each bathroom is fully equipped with plush towels, shower soap and wall mounted towel warmers as well as hair dryers. If you have small children, also available is a portable crib, high chair and stroller for your convenience when you visit nearby villages and markets.
After a day of visiting the many wonderful sites in the area you can return to Le Chemin des Rêves and relax with a nice glass of local rosé. You can also enjoy a swim in the 11 X 5 meter swimming pool or just rest in the comfortable loungers and listen to the sound of the fountain splashing into the pool. If you choose you can cook your evening meal on the BBQ in the pool house and watch the sun set over the Vaucluse Mountains. After sunset you may choose to enhance the beauty of the night with the subtle garden and pool lighting or just let the moon and the evening stars light your way.

Facilities
Completly renovated, beautifully decorated home just outside the perched village of Gordes. Our home, pool, and garden are situated to take advantage of the beauty of Provence and the spectacular views of the Calavan Valley, and Luberon Mountains. The 11X5 meter pool is totally private and equipped with lounge chairs and parasols. For the safety of children, the pool is surrounded by a beautiful wrought iron fence. The Poolhouse has a BBQ, Summer Kitchen, Dining Table and Lounge furniture. The stone exterior of the house is typical of the region. The 3000 sq. ft. of interior space is light, airy and tastefully decorated with comfort, beauty and privacy in mind. Each bedroom has ensuite bathroom. The spacious Living Room has a fireplace and french doors that open to spectacular views of the valley. The kitchen is a gourmet's delight. The dining room seats 8 comfortably. The den has TV/DVD/CD player. Many DVD's, CD's and books to enjoy.
Activities
Family games available include scrabble, yahtzee, playing cards, wahoo board, badminton and boules for pétanque.

Saturday to Saturday Rentals. 25% non-refundable deposit and signed contract confirm reservation. Balance due not later than 30 days before the first date of the rental contract. If cancellation is made within 30 days of the first date of the rental period, full balance is due and payable. €2000 deposit required before check-in. Deposit is refunded within 30 days if no damage has been done. House will be checked for damage after renter vacates the property and before the next renter takes possession.
