Vacation Rental Description
The Gautier family have lived in this tiny hamlet for centuries cultivating vines. Situated 3.5 kms from the attractive, little market town of Bedoin amid typical Provençal scenery on the southern slopes of Mont Ventoux, Les Gargoris has kept its rural charm.
This charming one-roomed cottage is located at the back of the hamlet among the olive-trees, pines, oaks, rosemary and thyme where the cicadas will serenade you in summer.
Inside, the pleasant living-room is separated from the kitchen by a work-top.
Opposite are a comfortable bed settee (160cms wide, BZ type), two armchairs and a coffee table. There is enough space to leave the settee open all day but it folds very easily without undoing the bed. If you prefer, you can use the bunk beds (90cms) beside the mural cupboards.
The kitchen has custom-built cupboards in pine and contains a two-burner hob, air extractor, combined oven (microwave and conventional), refrigerator plus all the necessary equipment of a modern kitchen.
The dining-room is in pine too, but you will most probably want to eat outdoors and enjoy the panoramic view!
The bathroom is furnished with a bath and shower attachment, basin on vanity unit and WC.

There are many villages, towns and beauty spots to see : Vaison la Romaine, Avignon, Venasque, Sault and its lavender fields, Isle sur la Sorgue and its antique shops, Mont Ventoux, the Nesque gorges etc … They are too numerous to list here!
FESTIVALS
Best known are: Orange, Avignon, Aix en Provence, Carpentras and Vaison la Romaine but do not miss the concerts and fêtes held by all the villages during the holiday season.
SPORTS
Climbing : at Cavaillon, the Dentelles de Montmirail and also in the Combe Obscure just next to Les Gargoris.
Pedestrian and equestrian excursions : walks and hikes in the Ventoux. They are numerous and varied; enjoy sunrise or sunset from the top!!
Golf : at Saumane (Isle sur la Sorgue) and Avignon.
Mountain biking and cycling : Mont Ventoux is famous for these sports!
Tennis : at Bedoin.
