Vacation Rental Description
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a block within a Domaine with beautiful views over the sea (see photos). The sandy beach is about 150 metres away with a restaurant, disco and shops. There is a swimming pool for residents next to the apartment and tennis courts. New for 2011; we now have WiFi available at a small extra cost.

La Gaillarde is situated between Les Issambres and St Aygulf approximately 15 minutes from the Roman town of Fréjus and about half an hour (traffic permitting) from St Tropez. The area has a wealth of sandy beaches and rocky coves. Apart from swimming there is plenty of scope for other activities such as cycling, walking and boat trips. For the family, Fréjus has many attractions including a large water park for the children and plenty of nightlife for the older ones. There is a large choice of shops including a ‘Géant’ super market at Fréjus. Boat trips are available from Fréjus and St Maxime to St Tropez and other destinations. Fréjus boasts a main line station (St Raphael-Valescure), which can take you to all stops to Nice and also the Italian Riviera.

    • For a change of scene why not enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the medieval villages with their wonderful markets, cafes and Plane tree shaded restaurants. The famous Gorges de Verdun is about an hour to the North where you can white water raft or climb. Alternatively you can rent a canoe, pedalo or motor boat at the Lac Saint Croix and take the Gorge at your own pace.

    25% booking deposit with the balance required 6 weeks before the holiday. If cancellation is received more than eight weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday, the booking deposit only is forfeit. If notice of cancellation of the holiday is received less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday, the full cost of the apartment hire may become payable, unless we can re-let the apartment. Payment accepted by cheque, PayPal (adding 2%) or by bank transfer. Change over day is normally Thursday.
