The hamlet Prat Bourdin, just 2 kms South of Plan de la Tour ,off the road to Grimaud ,is one of 35 hamlets attached to Plan de la Tour ,a village in the true Provencal style and character ,with a population of 2300 ,is surrounded by wine growing and mountainous countryside and woods of oak and pines. The air is of good quality little humidity,and a little freshness in the evenings due to the well-known winds, the 'Mistral' ,'Tramontane ''and the fair-weather 'Ponan'' .Good beaches and marinas are 15/20 minutes away and the mythic village of St. Tropez with its famous beaches and night life are 20 Kms away . Wellknown beaches and picturesque towns of Grimaud , Gassin, Ramatuelle and Ste.Maxime are close by. Easy visits to 12th century abbayes and to the enormous Verdon Canyon can be made in a day . Nice, Cannes ,Toulon and historic Aix-en-Provence are all at one hour drives.
