The lovely hill village of La Garde Freinet is a perfect location from which to discover the Gulf of St Tropez with the beach resorts of St Tropez and Sainte Maxime both within 20km drive. It is surrounded by a picturesque natural environment of Mediterranean forests and lush vegetation which can be explored via the many hill paths and walking trails of the area. The village itself is friendly, unspoilt and boasts many restaurants, cafés, traditional shops and a weekly Provençal street market. The apartment is located at the edge of the village – 250m from the centre – in a small, high-quality development with swimming pool, secure off-road parking and lift access. Internally, the modern and stylish accommodation sleeps up to 4 guests with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and house bathroom with separate wc. It is well equipped with satellite television, full oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Externally there is a spacious, furnished balcony adjoining the lounge which benefits from lovely views over the village

Activities
The vibrant but traditional medieval conservation village of La Garde Freinet surrounded by vineyards is just 18km from Saint Tropez and has that perfect blend of unchanging provençal way of life and character but with easy access to the most famous and fashionable beaches in the world - such as the 'Plage de Pampelonne'. With a long history the village has been fortified since the 11th century and has wonderfully preserved its' ancient character in its' village houses of stone, quaint old street names and pretty squares flanked by restaurants. La Garde Freinet is situated at a height of 400 metres above sea level just inland from the mediterranean Var Provence coast. from the top of the village by the old 'Fort Freinet' which overlooks the whole bay of Saint Tropez there are also panoramic views of the Miremar hills the plains of Saint Clement and the Argens valley as far as the lower Alps. There are shops for everyday needs - lots of restaurants and a bank, chemist and a doctors
