Vacation Rental Description
"La Versanne" sits on a coastal hillside, overlooking one of the area's many sandy coves, with stunning sea and woodland views. The house is surrounded by magnificent landscaped gardens and features a 12mx6m swimming pool. The villa has been beautifully refurbished and is furnished with a stylish mix of antique and modern furniture, which gives it a unique character.
The open plan living opens out on to a variety of garden and pool terraces, which allow for both family entertaining or more "personal" space, and although the house is close to the popular tourist attractions of the area, it is very peaceful and relaxing.
The house is accessed through electric gates that lead to a parking area which can take up to 4 cars.
The accommodation is on 2 levels :
Downstairs consists of a large, open plan lounge and dining area, with a sliding glass wall opening up on to a large family terrace with electric canopy. There is also an outside cloakroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Steps lead from the living artea to a well equipped, circular kitchen.
Also, downstairs, is the master bedroom, with en-suite bathroom and a second double bedroom, also with en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms have french windows leading on to garden terrace.
Upstairs consists of a circular entrance hall and formal living room with beamed ceilings. French windows lead out on to upstairs balcony, with spectacular sea views.
Hall leads to a double bedroom with views over the garden and pool. French doors open out on to upstairs balcony.
Upstairs cloakroom with sink and toilet.
Twin bedroom, again with fantastic views over garden and pool.
Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Due to the position of the property, on a steep hillside, for safety reasons we reccomend that it is only suitable for families with children over the age of 8.
Facilities
English satellite TV. Ironing facilities. Outside barbeque. The gardens and pool are maintained by an English couple, who will also clean the main parts of the house and change the bedlinen, once a week, for those staying 2 weeks or more. Any extra work should be requested and paid for directly with Mr. and Mrs Wood. As the property is only reccomended for families with children over the age of 8, we do not provide cot / highchair facilities.
Activities
There are local restaurants and a small supermarket nearby and the village of St. Peire can be reached, in a few minutes, by car, for a wider selection of shops, such as a pharmacy, "international" newsagent, banks etc., as well as more cafes and restaurants. It also has a pretty, sandy beach.
St. Maxime is a bustling port, about 10 minutes away (depending on the time of year). Here you can take the ferry to Port grimaud or St. Tropez, as an alternative to driving.

Changeover day is Saturday. Alternative arrival/ departure days can be arranged, if available, at the discretion of the owners. A refundable security deposit of £800.00 is required for each rental period. This will be returned once confirmation is received that no damage has occurred. 30% deposit payable at time of booking. This is not refundable if rental is subsequently cancelled. Balance to be paid 8 weeks before rental period starts. All payments to be made with sterling cheque or euro bank transfer. Linen is included in the cost of your rental. this includes bath and poolside towels. There will be a change of linen if your stay is 2 weeks or longer, at no extra cost. Guests and their belongings stay at the villa at their own risk. No responsibility can be taken for loss or damage to personal property.
