Vacation Rental Description
This 5 year old immaculately designed home is set over 3 floors, some 800 feet above sea level overlooking vineyards and the Island of Porquerolles off Hyeres in the South of France. To the west are stunning uninterrupted views of national parkland offering beautiful sunsets. The 12 metre x 4 metre swimming salt water infinity pool has its own teak deck area with Gloster loungers and parasols for shade. There is nothing more relaxing than leaning at the edge of the pool and looking down on the views below.
The villa is over 350 square metres of living space - with one complete leisure floor in the middle floor stretching the length of the house with over 200 square metres of terraces.
The lower floor features 4 double bedrooms with ensuite facilities and the family entertainment room with 43" plasma TV featuring surround sound. Library of books, games and DVDs. All bedrooms have views of the sea and open out onto a covered arched portico terrace. All rooms have air cooling and underfloor cooling/heating and mosquito screens.
The top entrance floor has a study with broadband internet access and a master bedroom suite with double bed, walk-in wardrobes and marble clad bath/shower room and dual handbasins made out of one piece of marble. Provate terraces and sea views.
On the middle floor there is the enormous fully fitted Siematic kitchen which has two Smeg ovens and a convection hob with US style refrigerator, washing up machine and waste disposer. There is seating for 8/10. And an outside table for alfresco dining in a shaded area with views of the sea and the pool area. A separate utility room off the kitchen has washing machine, dryer, fridge and a microwave oven.
The main lounge and living area has an eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture and art with Satellite TV and Bose sound systems throughout. A seperate Snooker Room with an antique snooker table, wall mounted flat screen TV and sound system makes this a great adults games room. Downstairs is a large lounge area with TV and surround sound for cinema viewing and access to a walled portico and gardens.
This spacious property offers every luxury and space for relaxation and privacy.
This property is energy efficient and Eco Friendly in that we have used up to date insulation products and materials throughout the construction and have installed a Geo Thermal heating system which derives its heat transfer energy from 3 bore holes sunk over 100 metres down into the hillside. This delivers air cooling (similar, but more economical than conventional air conditioning), underfloor heating & cooling and all the hot water used in the property.

Activities
La Londe has over 35 vineyards offering the very best of Provencal wines - tasting is encouraged and wine can be purchased directly. A new designation for 2009 "AOC Cotes de Provence La londe" was accredited to our major local vineyards.
The Isles d'Or, off Hyeres, are accessed via ferries from Port Miramar at La Londe harbour, the nearby Le lavandou or Giens in Hyeres.
There are many restaurants ranging from Pizzeria to Michelin star establishments just a few miles in any direction in nearby towns.
The usual credit/charge cards are accepted everywhere and Cash dispensers are in every town and village.

Truly the best property in the area...as all our frequent guests say...
We have rented our last home out from 1986 and when we designed and built our new property, it was with renters and families in mind.
Set over 3 floors we have quiet and privacy on the top floor with private terraces...the middle floor is huge with every window or sliding door opening out to vast areas of terraces...there is a huge lounge, kitchen and even a Snooker/Pool room. This floor also has the infinity pool, poolhouse and deck.
The lower floor has two self contained apartments with two bedrooms each - all ensuite. These areas are divided by a large lounge TV/Cinema room.arden All rooms open out to a covered portico and garden.
A haven for thos 3 generation families!
