Flayosc is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Provence, only 40 minutes away from the busy tourist spots of the coast. The village offers excellent shops for food, a weekly market, pharmacy, bank, several bars and restaurants, laundry/dry-cleaner and wine co-operative. It also has a tourist office offering excellent information about the area. Flayosc was a Roman settlement with a Roman road passing nearby. The village was defended by its circular wall of houses. In the wall you'll find three saracen doors and there are several ancient fountains. In the centre of the village stands the large St. Laurent church, which dates back to the 11th century, with its fortified and decorated bell tower.
