Les Amandiers, Tourrettes, Var
greeneland Gloucestershire
Review Submitted: September 4, 2010 Date of Stay: August 2010
My husband, our children (in their early 20's) and I had a very good holiday staying in Les Amandiers. We had clear directions and instructions related to the running of the house, which is set on a hill with wonderful views. It is a very attractive house, it was clean, with a well equipped kitchen and proved very comfortable. When staying in we had all our meals on the terrace. The small town of Fayence which has twice weekly markets, numerous shops and places to eat was only about 15 to 20 minutes by foot (somewhat longer to the internet cafe...!). It was also an excellent base to explore the surrounding areas.

Les Amandiers
K.T. Germany
Review Submitted: September 10, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We just returned from a week's holiday at Les Amandiers and wholeheartedly agree that the property is lovely, and the location great -- the bakery in Fayence is only a ten minute walk, and a couple of big supermarkets are just a five minute drive away. There are many wonderful attractions nearby, such as Lac St. Cassien, and the beautiful medieval perched villages. Just a little further afield (about 30 minutes) is the Mediterranean -- our favourite beach was Theoule sur Mer. For those willing to drive a little further, St. Tropez is about an hour away. All in all a great holiday in a enchanting home!

Owner's Response: I'm so glad that KT from Germany had a super holiday and has also fallen under the spell of Les Amandiers. We find it harder and harder to leave on every visit - from Jill and Nicholas, the owners.

We had a wonderfull easter-weak in Tourette. The house was very well equiped, you can feel, that the owners love their house. The terrace with this view to the old village of Tourettes is one of the most beautifull places for spending our family - evenings.
The owners were very helpfull with any questions we had for planning our holiday activities. There were no problems during our time in the house. So I can recommend this place especially for families with children.
