This fabulous modern 3 bedroom villa offers spacious accommodation for 6 people, with a new, large 11 x 5m pool. It is set in an acre of peaceful grounds close to the edge of the Verdon Regional Park with the beautiful Lac de Ste Croix for swimming and water sports and the amazing Gorges du Verdon for sightseeing or rambling. There are a multitude of hill-top Provençal villages to explore, plus great restaurants in nearby towns and villages. Provençal heat during the days but cool in the evenings. The spacious living room and master bedroom with large en-suite, both open out on to the wide south facing covered terrace with views across the grounds to countryside and hills.

Wide covered shady terrace on south facing rear of house with view across valley and woods. Boule/petanque area. The house is surrounded by drive and hard-standing with plentiful parking on the wide driveway to the side of the house. The one acre grounds have wooded areas giving plenty of shade, whilst others areas are more open. Large patio table and chairs for 8, plus barbeque. At night-time the lack of light pollution gives an astonishing view of the night sky for star gazers.

Golf de la Ste Baume is about 50 minutes away, whilst the course at St. Victoire is about 45 minutes away with the backdrop of Mont St. Victoire near to Aix. Other courses are within a short drive such as Golf de Digne la Lavande 1hr 10mins, Golf de Luberon 1hr, Golf de Barbaroux (challenging course) 45 mins.
Other typical hill top Provençal villages are plentiful in the area and artists will find plenty of subjects to paint. Historians can tramp along medieval ruelles in the historic villages or visit picturesque chapels and chateaux, including the basilica at St Maxim de la Ste Baume where reputedly the remains of Mary Magdallen were laid to rest after she fled the holy land and settle in the area.

- Travel Info: Marseille and Nice airports are an easy drive of about 90 minutes. The use of a car is essential. Full directions are available from Nice or Marseille airports. The Verdon Regional Park is 2km away with all that it has to offer, such as the Lac de Ste Croix - 16km away, and the spectacular Gorges du Verdon - Europe's answer to the Grand Canyon - about 55km. The nearest town is Aups (10km) that has lively markets twice a week, and a great choice of places to eat and drink.
The village has a boulangerie that is 1-2km away, plus an 'alimentation' for the basics. There are supermarkets in Regusse (9km), Barjols (9km) and Aups (15km). Hypermarket in Draguignan (33km). Restaurants – plentiful in the towns and villages with two in or near to Fox Amphoux itself. Local markets are held in Aups, Montmeyan, Barjols, and Bauduen.
