Vacation Rental Description
Painted peach with red shutters, the house is set in a walled garden overlooking the valley towards Aups. The house and gardens are totally private and just two minutes walk to the centre of Moissac. The house is at least 200 years old, and has thick walls, old beams and traditional tiled floors. Carefully renovated and decorated in traditional Mediterranean-bright colours, the house is a spacious comfortable base for a holiday in the heart of the Parc Naturel du Verdon. The house is on three floors, and it is the ground floor apartment that is for rental. This apartment has two bedrooms, but for a party of six people, there is a further bedroom and ensuite shower room and toilet available.  
 
Facilities and accommodation  
 
Kitchen: well equipped, including fridge, cooker, washing machine and dishwasher.  
 
Living/dining room: Dining for up to 8 people and plenty of comfortable seating with sofa and easy chairs, coffee table, and large wood burner, TV and French satellite system. The room is light and airy and opens directly on to the balcony with access to the garden.  
 
Bathroom: Bath, shower, double basins and toilet.  
 
Bedrooms: 1 double and a twin bedroom.  
 
Outside: Is a terraced garden, with lawn, stone barbecue and a tree-shaded area for dining. The lower terrace is a suntrap and has flower-filled pots, loungers and a parasol, and in a secluded corner is a Roman-style tiled outdoor Jacuzzi and shower.

    • Moissac Bellevue Moissac Bellevue is a small village between Aups and Regusse. It is a hilltop village with an altitude of 600m. From the village you have magnificent views of the valley surrounding the village. The village has kept its true Provençal atmosphere with cobblestone streets, steep stairways, and vaulted ochre houses. There is a local bar in the centre of the village, which also serves meals. Also within Moissac there is a campanile, a magnificent fountain and a 12th century chapel.

    • Within a 20 minute drive, you are in the Gorges du Verdon. Even if you see little else on your trip here, this should be first on your list.  
     
    In the Verdon Gorges it is possible to take part in all of the following (mainly in July and August) activities:-  
     
    - Water sports: sailing, water skiing, and fishing.  
    - Aerial sports: paragliding, free flight, gliding.  
    - Also possible are climbing, hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.  
     
    Situated at the end of the Gorges is the Lac St. Croix, an 11km lake. The water is turquoise blue, and there are many places for sun bathing and swimming.  
     
    There are many small villages situated around the Lac St Croix, one of which being Moustiers St. Marie. Moustiers is a small attractive town perched on the edge of a ravine. The town is famous for its faience pottery, and the narrow village streets are crammed with shops and studios.

    The tariff quoted is for 4 people. There is a separate tariff for 6, so please enquire. Changeover day normally on Saturday, but this is negotiable mid season. Notes A 20% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the balance to be paid eight weeks before rental. If the booking is made later than eight weeks before your holiday dates, then full payment in Euros is required. A security deposit of Euro 1000 is required on arrival. Electricity and water are included in the rental price. Bed Linen and Towels can also be supplied on request for Euro 15 per bed and Euro 8 per person, per week.
