Our photos do not do justice to this lovely easy to run apartment overlooking the mediterranean and the new harbour. There is a double bedroom upstairs leading off the mezzanine, a living room with sofa converting to double bed, a small but fully equipped kitchen, separate shower room with washbasin, separate toilet. Leading off the living room is a south facing terrace with seating for 6 overlooking the sea. There is a private parking space outside. St Cyr sur mer (Les Lecques) is a friendly, family resort with a large sandy beach and safe bathing. There are many little shops and restaurants all to be reached on foot. There is a railway station at St Cyr sur Mer with direct trains to Marseille and Toulon. St Cyr is located between La Ciotat and Bandol and halfway between the airports of Marseille and Toulon : several daily flights to uk by British Airways & Ryanair. Housecleaning is included in the rental cost and household linen can be provided at a small extra cost.

St Cyr sur Mer is the name of the inland town, about 3 kms from the sea and Les Lecques is the area of St Cyr where the beach (and our apartment) is located. On Sunday mornings there is a typical provençal market in St Cyr sur Mer. Excursions are very easy from St Cyr : trips to the vineyards near Bandol, visits to the medieval villages of Le Castellet, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Beausset. Along the coast at Hyères one can take the boat to visit the Porquerolles and Port Cros islands. At La Ciotat boat trips are available to the calanques of Cassis. Generally the weather is beautiful with about 300 days of sunshine per year.

There are tennis courts at St Cyr and a golf course at the Domaine de la Frégate. There is a diving club below the apartment at the new harbour. Sailing courses for children are also organised from the old harbour. Fishing trips can be organised from La Ciotat harbour. The cinema in St Cyr town often has films shown in English (original version). There is an Aqualand (water adventure playground for children) 2 km from Les Lecques.
Shopping is easy, either at the small shops along the beach or at the supermarket 2 km inland. Hypermarkets are easily reached at Ollioules or Toulon. There a two discotheques along the beach, to amuse the teenagers.

25% deposit requested to confirm booking Balance payable 8 weeks before start of holiday Security deposit against damages of £150 payable with balance and returned after departure 100% rental fee + security deposit payable if request for booking is made less than 8 weeks before start of holiday. Cancellation : 25% deposit is retained for any cancellation made prior to date of payment of balance. If cancellation is made less than 8 weeks before start of holiday the owner will reimburse 75% of rental fee IF and only IF it has been possible to re-rent the property for the specified week or weeks.
