Welcome to our little place in the sun ....Le Hameau des Trois Collines is a new development within Pont Royal - tucked away at the far end of the Domaine, our villa enjoys beautiful views of the Luberon mountains which can be enjoyed from the large terrace. Peaceful and quiet yet only a short stroll from the centre of the village which has been beautifully designed around a church, in the style of an old Provencal village, with lots of attention to detail - stone steps through arched walkways lead to small village squares with cafes flanked by fountains, pine trees and terracotta pots filled with flowers. The main square has restaurants, a tapas bar, souvenir shop, wine cave and delicatessen and during the summer months there are twice weekly markets selling local produce, fashion and crafts. There is a whole range of on-site activities, including children's clubs and play areas as well as sports and plenty of entertainment to keep the adults busy too! There is an additional charge for some of the activities which can be booked at the main reception area which also offers wifi connection and a cash machine.

Golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros with spectacular views of the Luberon - considered to be one of the top ten courses in France.

House details:

The ground floor of the villa is open plan with french doors leading onto the large, sunny terrace and private garden. The living area has comfy seating with TV, DVD player, stereo CD player/radio and i-pod docking station. Free internet access. We have provided a good selection of cd's, dvd's, books, games for all the family plus a large box of duplo (lego) for the children - perfect for taking time out from the sun in this large air conditioned space. The dining area has seating for 8 people. There is also a downstairs toilet with wash hand basin and the entrance hall has a large cupboard with iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, vaccuum cleaner etc and space for hanging coats.

The open plan kitchen area has cooker, hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine and various appliances for your convenience. Plenty of utensils so you can take advantage of the fabulous produce in the local markets and eat the Provencal way.

The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with cupboard and mirror - king size bed with traditional Provencal quilt and large fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Air conditioning unit and fan provided. Beautiful views.

The back twin bedded room also enjoys beautiful views. Large fitted wardrobe, bedside table and full length free-standing mirror. Two twin beds with traditional Provencal quilts. Fan provided.

The front twin bedded room has french doors leading to a small balcony overlooking the pool. Large chest of drawers and bedside table for storage. Fan provided.

Good sized main bathroom with bath and shower over. Mirrored cupboards and plenty of storage. Washer/dryer and heated towel rail.

Outside:

The villa has a large "wrap around" terrace so you can make the most of the sunshine at all times of the day. Outside table with comfortable padded seats plus sun lounger and parasol. Large gas barbeque for long lazy meals al fresco. Garden stocked with lavender and rosemary and mature shrubs.

Shared pool about 50m from front door of villa while the larger infinity pool and small paddling pool is about 200m from villa. Both pools have sun beds and washroom facilities and are for the exclusive use of guests and residents of Le Hameau des Trois Collines.

Underground garage available for your use and extra storage if needed.

We are also starting to build up quite a collection of books written about the area. Our house manager Karen can make restaurant reservations or book taxis as required.

  • Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone : Fields of soft lavender, rolling hills, deep gorges this region is France at its finest: spectacular countryside of vineyards and orchards; fascinating 'perched' hill-top villages; outstanding natural produce; and the light of van Gogh and Cezanne.

    MALLEMORT
    Mallemort is a pretty village and the closest to Pont Royal. The main square has a weekly market and there are shops, restaurants (particularly the Auberge du Vieux Village - booking recommended, it is busy throughout the year), bars and banks. Climb up the winding streets to the viewpoint at the top of the village and visit the large and very ornate graveyard which definitely boasts the best views.

    THE LUBERON
    Perched villages, fields of lavender, tiny out of the way restaurants and bars just waiting to be discovered, winding streets with pretty shops and art galleries - we are sure you will soon have your favourite.

    The Domaine of Pont Royal is a gated estate with villas and apartments set around a beautiful golf course. Our house was completed in 2008 and while in a quiet and peaceful location is within easy access of the village of Pont Royal and all the facilities it offers. Perfectly situated for exploring the hilltop villages of the Luberon, the stunning cities of Aix en Provence and Avignon, the beautiful Alpilles and the wild and wonderful Camargue. The closest village is Mallemort, with a weekly market, a fabulous restaurant, a traditional French bar and a large Intermarche for supermarket shopping.

    • Nearest Airport : Marseille at 50 kilometers distance;
    • Nearest Train Station : Avignon at 30 kilometers distance
    • Nearest Town : Mallemort at 5 kilometers distance
    • Travel Info: By car:A7 motorway - exit at Senas then 8km on the N7 towards Aix-en-Provence. By air: Marseille Provence International Airport - 50 km/40 mins drive. Nimes airport 60km/50 mins drive. Nice Airport approx 215 km/2 hours drive. By train: TGV staions at Avigonon and Aix-en-Provence Car hire recommended although we can recommend a mini bus service if you prefer to be collected and brought to the villa.

    Our prices include bed linen and towels (excluding pool towels). 25% deposit required when booking - remainder to be paid 8 weeks before trip commences - rates shown in UK pounds - payment also accepted in Euros.     "We stayed in Pont Royal for a week with our 5 year old son. Debby had gone to great efforts to ensure that each member of our family was made comfortable, from the welcoming touches to the Duplo and dvd's for the kids. We happily spent a few days away from Pont Royal visiting local towns and attractions but in the main we were more than happy popping to the local supermarket for our provisions or going to the bakers for the essential chocolate croissant in the morning!
    Pont Royal is a great location in beautiful surroundings and days spent by the pool in the glorious sunshine is more than enough for us.
    The village comes alive at the end of the day and there is a weekly market with some fantastic gifts, jewellery and clothing stalls. My husband particularly enjoyed a cold beer from the bar by the lake at the end of a hard day by the pool!
    We will all remember our stay for very different reasons but mostly that the house is welcoming, well situated, spotlessly clean and has everything you could ask for. We hope to return to Pont Royal in the very near future."

    "The standard of equipment and furnishings makes it feel like a second home and not just a rental property, from the comfortable garden furniture through to the well presented and homely interior. We found this proprerty by accident online last year and rebooked immediately on our return for 2010!. The smaller swimming pool adjacent to the property although shared feels very private. Or if you prefer there is plenty of room to sit or lay in the garden. Having stayed in the main complex previously, we found the location of this property very convenient for all the bars and restaurants but much quieter and more relaxed."

    "Our family had a really enjoyable stay here in July 2010. The property is exactly as described on the website but what does not come across is that this is clearly a much loved family home and it was lovely to be able to share this. My teenage boys particularly appreciated the extensive DVD collection! The adjacent pools were never busy and there were plenty of available sunloungers. The gardens and grounds around the property are beautifully kept. Comprehensive information was file really useful. I would have no hesitation in reccommending the property to others."

    Our House in Pont Royal

    We live and work in Belfast, Northern Ireland and have four children aged between 15 and 22 and an elderly but very much loved border collie!
    Although Northern Ireland is a beautiful country the climate can be predictably awful with a lot of rain and we found ourselves craving the sunshine and outdoor way of life.
    We had been lucky enough to rent a beautiful villa in Pont Royal which belongs to friends of ours and after spending a number of summers and weekend breaks there we discovered that a new development was being built. We took the plunge and signed for Mas 15, Le Hameau des Trois Collines in September 2006 when all we had to go on was a building site and plans - we are delighted with the end result and plan to spend many more happy holidays there.
