DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF RENTING A PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, LIKE MANY PEOPLE DO, AND REGRET. We offer the best of 2 worlds: the historic center of Aix en Provence combined with the advantages of country living. Right in the centre of ancient Aix, the 19th century ground-floor apartment, fully-modernized, benefits from its OWN EXCLUSIVE (250 m2 -2700 ft2) PRIVATE GARDEN (i.e. NOT shared with any other occupants. It is an oasis of refreshment -a rare commodity in the heat of the Provencal summer,with a covered terrace and flowered patio. A relaxing haven from the bustling city. A place where you will not be bothered with city noise since the apartment is located on the garden side of the street .
To take advantage of the bustling city life in Aix, you only have to walk out the door and two minutes later you are sipping your morning coffee as you watch the passing parade from an outdoor café on the historic Cours Mirabeau. Museums, festivals, spas, outdoor markets, more than 400 restaurants located in town centre – all await you only a short walk away.
The living/dining room, with bay windows and doors leading out to the terrace, patio and garden, will be appreciated from sunrise to sunset. The den/family-room can serve as a 2nd sitting room or as a 2nd bedroom. The bathroom has a large jacuzzi-sized bathtub with shower;the toilet is enclosed and private from bathroom area. In the kitchen there's everything you'll need for holiday cooking + 100 restaurants 5 min. away. You'll find all the extras you won't need to bring with you or buy on arrival: linen, hair-dryer, iron, board, ...Our way of trying to make you feel at home in ours.
Facilities
There is a high-speed internet connection in the apartment. Information on sleeping accommodations: There is one bedroom with double bed + vanity sink. The 2nd bedroom is actually a 26 m2/ 280 ft2 multi-purpose room with access to the terrace and is furnished with 2 sofas that make into a comfortable double + single bed (sleeping for 3). This room can either be used as a den-sitting room when only 1 couple renting, or for parties of 2 couples, friends or those with older children, as the second bedroom. NB: all of the rooms in the flat are located on the garden side of the building and therefore quiet for sleeping. Please note that the property is not child-proofed and is not really suitable for families with young children.

For shopping Aix has many of the same boutiques found in Paris,as well as a flea market 3 days a week where you can buy clothes and Provencal specialties.

A rental week is from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 11am. Check-ins are between 5 - 7 pm. (NOT EARLIER NOT LATER) So please arrange your travel arrangements accordingly. 50% deposit payable on booking, balance due upon taking possession of property. All transfer costs at charge of renter. No check-out final cleaning fee is charged if you take it upon your self to leave the flat for the next renter in as good condition as you yourself found it. However if you should prefer, we can provide this service for a cleaning fee of 90 euros. Off-street private parking can be provided if requested.
