4 Bedroom Villa in Vence

This eclectically restored provencal villa is on the edge of the old walls of Vence, a picturesque medieval town with its many fine restaurants, relaxing cafés, art galleries and daily markets.The secluded garden scented with the perfume of jasmin, wisteria and lavender has its own mosaic pool and palms ,orange trees and even a cherry tree. It is situated three minutes walk from the old medieval town with its shops and festivals (July+).  
 
A car is not necessary. For the visually discerning this is a little trip to paradise, almost a temple adorned eclectically with artifacts gleaned from an artists travels.  
 
The bedrooms are all ensuite and two have direct access to the garden for peaceful early morning swims. The upstairs room is extremely spacious with a high ceiling and overflowing with light and has a view across the valley to the Matisse chapel. At night it is like fairy land as the light round the Chateau Saint Martin twinkle from the terasse overlooking the valley.

All the bedrooms are ground floor. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and opens directly onto the garden, a few steps away from the pool.  
Bedroom 2: Interestingly decorated with its own brightly coloured shower room and toilet. Enters through the garden.  
Bedroom 3: Although it has 2 single beds, it can be adjusted into a double bed. It also has a walk in Moroccan style shower room and toilet. There are 2 cupboards.  
Bedroom 4: Separate entrance, it is independent from the rest of the house, it has its own breakfast area and writing desk. It has its own shower and toilet. It would be ideally suited for teenagers.

• Travel Info: This delightful villa is on the edge of the old walls of Vence, a picturesque medieval town with many fine restaurants, relaxing cafés, art galleries and daily markets. Well stocked wine caves and supermarkets are within a minute's walk. Thus it has the great advantage of being within the town and yet has the tranquility of being in the country surrounded by bird song and overlooking the Matisse chapel. Being in the center of Vence a car is not needed. There are regular buses during the day directly to Nice and the airport. For other destinations you need to change but once. A bus ticket is 1 euro.
