Delightful Studio Apartment close ot beaches, shopping and city centre
This delightful studio apartment is in an elegant, bourgeois building in the exclusive, quiet, 'Baumettes' neighborhood. The apartment is very close to the city center and just minutes from the famous palm tree-lined Promenades des Anglais, the beaches, the famous hotel Negresco and the pedestrian shopping streets. The apartment is easily reached by local bus from the airport or the train station. One local bus (for 1 euro) will take you from either the airport or train station to the apartment. The apartment is next to the Musee des Beaux-Arts, Jules Cheret. The apartment is just two blocks (100m) from the sea, and it's close to shopping and excellent restaurants. Kitchen features a dishwasher and a small two door frost free fridge. All dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, linen, coffeemaker, toaster oven, microwave oven and toaster provided. Bathroom has a new washer/dryer and a hair dryer. The apartment is on ground floor overlooking a garden. TV and Internet access also provided.
The apartment is close to several supermarkets; Intermarche, Casino and Picard frozen food store on Gambetta and Leader Price, Casino, Bricorama near Magnon to the west. On the first Sunday of each month, all museums are free - Matisse, Archeology Museum, Chagall Biblical Museum, Museum of Modern Art, Musee des Beax Arts Jules Cheret (next door), Musee Massena and many many more. Third Sunday of each month all local museums are free except National Museums. Nice is surrounded by places of interest. In the city, there are many museums, the Old Town and daily market, pedestrian street, churches, as well as the Promenade des Anglais; the long boardwalk along the sea. Interesting nearby towns, transportation cost 1 euro, include Cannes, Antibes, Grasse, St Paul de Vence, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Menton, Eze Village, Villefranche and Ventimille Italy all easily accessible by bus and /or train. Small garden in front of apt belongs to the apartment and is useful for smoker.
